As you are my favourite star
You shine so bright in the night,
If only you would do that in the light
You thrive in the night because you love the dark
I guess it's safe to say that you've stolen my heart
You try your best to hide in the day
But at night you do as you may
It's your time to finally shine,
And my time to finally call you mine
But I've been watching you from afar
I know your smile, I see the twinkle in your eyes
And you finally notice me, after all this time ❜
