y'all i'm sorry i posted this late but i completely forgot i was gonna put my book on here today lolol anyways, hope u guys enjoy!
It was a quiet and peaceful morning. The sounds of birds chirping and the wind howling every now and then were all that could be heard from those in the area and nearby.
Well, that and the oh-so-wonderful sound of snoring. Specifically, snoring coming from a (hair color) haired (element) mage. Her soft snores would almost have been un-noticed if not for the already silent atmosphere. The (hair colored) haired beauty also went by the name of (Your name) (Last name). An apprentice and good "friend" of a celestial mage with gorgeous blonde, silky hair named Lucy Heartfila.
Said mage currently staring at the girl sleeping on the comfy, cotton couch. Her gaze not once tearing away from the "Sleeping Beauty". Her lips curved upwards into a small smile as (Your name) moved around in their sleep, looking for a new position to lay in that was comfortable.
Whilst Lucy watched the other girl sleep, her hands held a small device used to communicate with the other members of the Fairy Tail Guild. As her focus slipped away slowly, so did her device; inching closer and closer to the flooring each second. Suddenly, a loud thud sound was heard not only by the blondette, but by the girl who was laying on the couch. Lucy's eyes widened when the (element) mage who was once laying in a deep slumber shot up from the couch in a hurried manner.
(Your name) looked at her surroundings in every direction with a panicked expression worn on her face, but turned into a calm one once she realized it was just her roommate who made the sudden noise. "I'm so sorry, (Your name)! It was a total accident, I didn't mean to wake you up!" Lucy shouted out, with her hands in front of her face moving from side to side. (you guys understand that right? lolol sorry if u don't but if i find a gif i'll put it here later)
"O-oh, it's alright! No need to apologize, hah." (Your name) replied with a slight stutter and smile. Lucy smiled back, and bent down to pick up the device that was the cause of (Your name)'s awakening. (no ur not a demon lol)
When she faced back up, (Your name) had laid back down onto the couch, with her head on the soft pillow and her body tucked cozily underneath a fluffy, pink blanket. Lucy sweat-dropped, and walked over to the couch said girl was laying on. "You do realize we have to go to the guild, right?" Lucy asked, well, stated. "Yes, but how about no. Why don't we just stay in for today; We've been doing missions left and right all week! We should just stay in for today, especially you, Lu! You've been working really hard and you deserve some rest and a day off!" (Your name) said while staring at the girl in front of her. Lucy's eyes widened, and her cheeks bursted a bright red from embarrassment. "I-I uhm.. I guess.. I guess one day wouldn't hurt... But if Erza or Natsu comes and gets mad at us, I'm blaming you!" Lucy retorted, still blushing from the last-spoken words of the (eye color) eyed girl.
"Alright, alright. I'll take the blame if we get in trouble. I just don't want you getting hurt, you know?" (Your name) started. "How about we lay here together! That way we can be more cozy and warm, and I can protect you from any danger!" (Your name) said, her hands straight in the air, her eyes shut and a bright smile placed on her face. A small pink tint apparent on her cheeks, while the blondie standing in front of her almost passed out due to the heat rising on her face and ears.
"W-What! I.. I couldn't possibly just s-sleep next to you! There's just no wAY-" (Your name) grabbed Lucy's waist with one hand and her hand with the other, forcefully tugging her down onto the couch next to her. She snuggled up to her, and fixed the blanket so it was covering the both of them. "Hush... and just... rest.." With those words, the (element) mage snuggled into Lucy's neck and drifted off into sleep, while said girl didn't know how to comprehend what the heck just happened. She sighed, and moved her body towards the sleeping girl. She wrapped her arms around (Your name)'s neck, and intertwined their feet. She moved her head so that head was resting comfortably on (Your name)'s.
The celestial mage closed her eyes slowly, with her remaining thoughts and questions all about (Your name). The girl she'd grown attached too....
...And the girl that she'd grown to love as more than a friend...
