It was a warm and sunnie Friday afternoon. The hunters and I were just settling down after a long day of monster fighting. After we set up a tent, we started to eat. Gods i couldn't tell you how frickin hungry I was. I practically finished my meal in two minutes, But Reyna. I just kept looking at her. I couldn't control it, I just couldn't look away. Ever since she joined us, I kept getting this weird feeling.
I honestly don't know how to explain it. Whenever we spoke, there was always an awkward silence. I wasn't acting like myself at all. I would stutter over my words, my hands would get really sweaty, and gods lets not talk about when she hugs me.
"Is everything ok Thalia? You seem off," Reyna asked me after dinner.
"I'm fine Reyna, stop worrying" I responded.
I really wanted to talk to Artemus but I felt like she wouldn't understand. So, I did the next obvious thing. I instructed Reyna to keep watch of the hunters and I went to Camp Halfblood.
There I found Piper and Annabeth sitting by the lake and talking.
"Thalia is everything ok?" Annabeth gasped.
"Not to be rood but shouldn't you be with the hunters?" Piper asked obviously confused.
"Yeah.. I should," I responded. "But I need your help. I don't know whats happening to me."
"What do you mean?" Piper asked.
"Its Reyna. I don't know whenever I talk to her... well, she" I stuttered, "she.. When she looks at me.. When we talk.. The awkward silence.."
"Ahhh I get it" Piper said while  grinning.
"Thalia, you don't need a child of Aphrodite to tell you you're in love."
"Ooo Someone's got a crush," Annabeth teased.
"But that's in possible!" I shouted. "I'm a hunter! Artemus's lieutenant! She would kill me."
"Physically or metaphorically?" Annabeth asked trying not to smile.
"Shut up Annabeth," I muttered.
"Sorry," she said looking embarrassed.
"Anyways," Piper said, "I think you have some explaining to do." '
