"Love, how about we write a bucketlist?" biglang tanong ng girlfriend niya for eight years na si Gianna. They've been together since their senior highschool.
Kaka-release lang dito sa ospital. She was diagnosed with Leukemia. But here she is, acting like nothing life changing is happening to her.
"For what?" malamyang tanong niya rito.
Ngumuso ito sa kaniya at naglalambing na niyakap siya. "To create more memories together. To go on more adventures with you. B-Before..."
"No. Don't continue what you're about to say," matigas na sabi niya.
Narinig niya ang pagbuntong-hininga nito. "Okay. But please, can we make a bucketlist?" pa-cute pang sabi nito.
Napabuntong-hininga pa siya. "Okay."
Nakangiting hinalikan siya nito nang mabilis. Nagmamadali itong naghanap ng notebook at ballpen.

Ito ang nakita niyang isinulat ni Gianna sa first page ng blangkong notebook. She even tried to do some lettering and design.
"I was thinking of putting the lists of the adventures we wanted to do together on the second page. Then 'yung ibang pages, let's make it a diary style. Let's write something to every adventures na matatapos natin," nakangiting sabi nito.
But he knew better. She is trying to be strong for him. He felt like crying. He pulled her closer and hugged her tight.
"Anything you want, love. I'll do anything that you want," mahinang sabi niya.
Naramdaman niya ang paghalik nito sa tuktok ng ulo niya.
"Let's write our bucketlist na. I'm very excited na to go on adventures with you," bulong nito sa kaniya.
Marahan siyang tumango. Kinalma ang sarili bago pilit na ngumiti rito.
"Let's do. I can't wait to go on those adventures with you too."
