Mom forced me to go to my room so that I can catch up on some sleep because we both needed it and falling asleep on couch is not that comfortable.
When I woke up after I guess two hours of nap I got ready to go downstairs to prepare dinner.
Mom was already there talking to someone on phone.
"Yes sure I'll tell her" she replied while giving me a smile.
" OK I'll see you tomorrow darling I'll come to pick you up?"
It must be dad she is talking to.
I just started with the dinner since they will take thier own time talking sweet but nothing. I'm so happy for them yet I admire them they've been married to each other for over thirty years but they still behaves like newlyweds.
I started making dough for chapatti's whereas mom told dad bye.
"Did he even know about me being here mom?" I needed to know why dad didn't even asked about me let alone a conversation.
"He's in the middle of some deal dear that's why he can't talk for longer period.
"He said he loves you and he can't wait to meet you tomorrow" my eyes lit up with the idea of being with dad.
"I have and your dad told me that some of his old faimly friends are coming over tomorrow night for dinner"
"Oh is rai chand uncle is coming over its been so long since I meet him mom" I was curious so I asked her.
"No they're very old friends his grandfather used to be your grandfather's best friend" she tried to Make me realise that how serious and important people are.
We finished cooking our food and put on some songs and digged in our dinner while talking the whole time.
After telling mom good night i went to my room wondering about the old friend dad was talking about he must be bery important if dad is still in contact with him.
Thinking about everyone and everything happening I went into slumber.
