the next few days passed nicely, school was pretty easy and i was lucky to have made friends with the losers, my mom hadn't really done much more then usual, other then maybe finding a job, which was good for me, that means she'll be out of the house more.

today was friday and i was just about to head to school "hey umm dad, do you think it would be ok if i hung out with some friends after school today?" i asked "of course sweetie, just please be safe, your mom will be working until 6 so try and get home before then" he told me "ok, thanks!" i smiled before heading out of the house to meet richie at the end of my driveway.

"hey hot stuff," he says "are you ever gonna stop calling me that, trash mouth?" i asked, not that i hate the name, it's just kinda weird, he just shrugged and we continued to bike down the street.

"so you coming to the sewers with us after school?" he asks "hold up, i thought we were just hanging out, not going through shitty water!" i said "yeah well bill needs help with something, you don't have to come.." he says trailing off "well i mean i'd rather do that then stay at home bored out of my fucking mind so sure i'll come" i said.

school once again had passed pretty quick, we all got outside and grabbed our bikes, ready to start our journey though some discussing sewers when non other then henry bowers and his gang show up "hey new kid!" he yells, i look up to him unimpressed as his goons go after the boys "what the fuck do you want know?" i asked annoyed "you," he says with a dark chuckle, my face cringed as i take a step back "eww, why don't you leave us the fuck alone, i'm sure i've said it before, we have better things to be doing," i said "well that's nice for you princess, but i think we'll have our fun first," he says moving closer to me "i'd be careful with what you're doing, looks like daddy cop is right over there," i say to him looking over to where his dad stood in uniform just across the field, he moved back as one of the other boys pushed stan to the floor and another was taunting richie and bill "whatever, let's go, you guys are fucking losers!" he yells. 

after helping up stanley and making sure everyone was ok, we started biking to where the sewers were, i was in the back because id never really been anywhere except the school, so i'm quite unfamiliar with the town.

"oh my god, that poison ivy, that's poison ivy and that's poison ivy," stan says pointing to at least three different plants "what! where, fuck now i'm itchy" eddie says "stan, not every plant you see is poison ivy!" i say, richie rolled his eyes "seriously stan," he says

"l-let's g-go" bill says as we approach the sewers, richie, bill and i went in with no problem "so what exactly are we looking for?" i asked "anything g-georgie would've h-had" bill says.

right, one more small thing, georgie went missing the other night, no one knows where he is, they think he might've run away, they've put posters up but he hasn't gotten home yet.

"aren't you guys coming in?" i called "mmm, no way, you guys are literally walking around in millions of derrys piss and shit," eddie says "this doesn't smell like caca to me señor" richie says picking up a large stick "oh my god, put that down" i yelled at him "oh come on hot stuff, i'm just having a little fun," he says to me "ok well have fun but don't come near me when you smell like shit" i told him and the rest of the boys laugh and richie dropped the stick "shit" bill said picking up a shoe "fuck, is that...?" i say "no.. no g-georgie was w-wearing rain b-boots" bill said "what's going on?" stan calls "we found a shoe" i said "whos?" eddie asked "i-it's..." bill starts "betty ribson's (don't come at me, idk how to spell it, please let me know how to spell her last name)" richie interrupted "oh shit, what are you guys doing!" eddie yells "if i-i was b-betty, i'd want t-to be f-found" bill says "i don't know about that bill, why would she be in the sewers?" i asked "come on guys! it's almost summer! i don't wanna be down here, we should be having fun!" stan yelled and then we heard a big splash "holy shit! what the fuck happened to you!?" richie yelled "come on, let's fucking help him!" i yelled grabbing his arm and pulling him over to help the poor kid.

"y/n, richie, stay here!" stan said as the rest of them went into a convenience store "so uhh, what's your name?" i asked the kid who was sitting on the floor of an alley "ben"he said "nice to meet you ben, i'm y/n and that richie" i said "glad i got to meet you before you die" richie said and i hit his shoulder "seriously not helping rich!" i said.

we stood outside for a few minutes before the boys came rushing back "did you get everything?" i asked "yeah," eddie said bill walked away, and i kinda zoned out for a minute

"you have to suck the wood before you put the bandage, it's 101!" richie yells to eddie "you-you don't know what you're talking about!" eddie says and bill and a girl with red hair that i'm sure i'd seen around school, came over "hey, are you ok, that looks like it hurts?" she asks "uhh, y-yeah, i just uhh... fell," ben says "yeah! right in to henry bowers!" richie says "shut it r-r-richie!" bill says "what? it's the truth!" richie says and everyone else just stays silent "don't worry, w-we'll take c-care of him, and uhh t-thanks again b-beverly" bill says "yeah, maybe i'll see you around" she smiles "h-hey, uhh, w-we were g-gonna go to t-the quarry t-tomorrow i-if you wanna c-come?" bill invites her, i saw richie roll his eyes, obviously not too excited about that "good to know, thanks" she says and walks always, everyone looked at bill like he was insane for a second before turning their attention to richie "nice job bringing bowers up in front of her!" stan says "yeah, you heard what she did" eddie said "what did she do?" ben asks confused, i was new at the beginning of the week and i've already heard the rumors, i'm surprised he hasn't "more like who'd she do, from what i heard, the list is longer then my wang!" richie said "yeah well, that's not saying much" stan says making me laugh "whatever, get in there! suck the wound!" he says is a horrible attempted British accent "suck it! suck the wound!" i joined in.

almost an hour later and everything was fine again "shit, what time is it?" i asked "uhh, 5:30" richie says "fuck, i, uhh i need to get home, i'll see you guys around" i said starting to go to my bike "wait" - richie said grabbing my arm - "you coming to the quarry tomorrow?" he asks me "i don't know," i said truthfully, i wasn't so sure about my mom letting me out "oh, ok, bye" he says "bye losers!" i yelled "bye y/n" i heard as i rode home.

thank god my mother wasn't home, i quickly ran inside to see my dad asleep on the couch, i locked the door and went to my room. i decided i'd take a shower because i mean, we were walking around in sewer water and i probably smell like shit because of it.
