****Punching in the code to the gated building, So-Hyun walked through the patioed walkway laced with freshly planted flowers. She smiled at the sight of the new additions and made a mental note to give thanks to the woman who planted them. Slipping out of her heeled work shoes, she replaced them with her pink sliders and shuffled down the hall into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water from the fridge.
She let out a moan of joy as the cold liquid flooded her throat and filled her belly. Today was a busy day in the office with the new regulations regarding quarantine, they'd barely had any space to breathe let alone eat and so this was a much-needed drink.
She downed the rest of the water and examined the bottle for a moment before throwing it into the recycling bin.
"Next is the wine." She smiled, eyeing the wine cooler on the counter-top. She still wasn't the biggest fan of alcohol, but the acquired taste for wine crept up on her over the past few months. It had to be the ageing process.
The administration team within their service were running around like headless chickens trying to cancel every face-face appointments that they had and switch them all to telephone appointments when they could.
So-Hyun felt bad seeing them work so hard, so opted to help them out by calling her own clients personally and although most of them were understanding about it there were a few who decided to use that time for their own therapy. So-Hyun had to remain professional on her side of the phone and tried to cut the conversations short but always missed the timing so ended up having to listen to some venting from some clients.
The number of cases in Seoul had risen dramatically and everything was shutting down, including their therapy service. They were sending the workers home to better everyone's safety and So-Hyun could understand completely. Although she had never had to work from home before, she was slightly worried about having to bring her work life within the home.
She liked to keep the therapeutic part of her life at work and her home life – well, at home. All she could do was try and give it a shot.
However, she would think about that next week. Right now, all she wanted was a nice hot shower, pizza and the bed.
Grabbing her bag from the counter-top, she walked up the stairs across the landing of the house and into the bedroom. She threw her bag to the side, unclasped her watch, and put it on the dresser.
Unbuttoning her blouse, she threw it on the bed and started to unzip her skirt when a voice from behind startled her.
"Well, well, well... Isn't this a sight to see." He purred. So-Hyun turned to find her husband laying on the bed, holding her blouse in between his fingers with a grin on his face.
So-Hyun held a hand to her chest to catch her breath.
"If I knew working from home would be like this, I would have done it sooner." He winked, causing So-Hyun to shake her head with laughter.
"Oppa, what's the time? Why are you back so early?"
"They sent us home today. I literally stepped foot onto campus and they ushered me back out. I think today was probably the least amount of time I've spent in school my entire life." He chuckled, throwing the duvet aside and sliding out of the bed.
"Were you sent home too?" He asked walking towards her, making So-Hyun aware of his lack of covering for the top half of his body. His lower half was barely secured with the navy suit trousers she loved so much.
She didn't know what it was about them, but they just fit perfectly in all the right places.
"I was indeed. Trying to get everything sorted today at work was hectic." She fell into his arms as he embraced her. "How are you feeling about working from home?"
He swayed her from side to side as he answered, "I'm feeling okay. I've had to conduct lectures online before so I'm somewhat used to it. The only thing is whether my students are going to find it engaging enough."
So-Hyun nodded her head understandably, "I guess they have no choice. Make the lectures as interesting as you can."
Seung-Ho giggled, "I'm teaching the memory module this year, it's interesting but not that interesting."
So-Hyun smiled up at him in a silent agreement. "So what did you do once you got back?"
"Hmm, well I came back, made some breakfast, thought about you, led some video meetings, thought about you some more, then I reviewed my teaching notes for tomorrow and oh... I thought about you."
"Gosh you are such a cheese-ball." She grinned, unable to stop the blush that spread across her cheeks.
"And you love it." He pressed a kiss to the top of her head.
She bit her bottom lip, "I do love it." She pressed her lips against his, "And I love you." She connected their mouths once more, but with the addition of her tongue sliding across his bottom lip vying for entrance to which he most eagerly allowed.
Wrapping her arms around Seung-Ho's neck, she brought herself against him and he pulled her in closer, his hands perfectly positioned on the dip of her waist.
"Should we take this to the-" Before So-Hyun could finish her sentence, Seung-Ho had already lifted her up, causing her to automatically wrap her legs around his torso.
As they fell onto the bed their lips dared not disconnect from each other, until Seung-Ho started to trail blazing hot kisses down her neck, across her shoulders and down her arms.
Her whole body was being ignited in a way that only Seung-Ho could do.
Thinking it unfair, she used her strength to flip him over so that she was now positioned on top of him.
"I can't be the only one..." She breathed, taking her turn to press soft kisses over his chest. Intertwining both their hands together, she placed them above his head. "There's no escaping for you."
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
