17:RULES ARE RULES

Manik and Nandini walkeddown and settled themselves on the cold stool beside the kitchen island. Nandini took the pen and paper from Manik's hand and started scribbling the heading in bolds on the top.

"FWB rules like seriously Nandini, can you be anymore lame." Manik snorted.

"Friends With Benefits Rules obviously Manik, and does the heading really matter." Nandini cringes.

"Only if you had any sort of sense of humour. Well lets get past that so what's the rules gonna be?" Manik asked with an amused smile on his face like he knew what was coming next.

"So the first rule is -"Nandini started to lay the rules out when Manik interrupted.

"is that we cannot fall for each other" Manik says with a smirk.

" excume me what makes you thik that i will actually fall for you. Like have any sort of feelings for you" Nandini replied with annoyance evident in her voice.

"Why not. I mean i am hot and girls drool over me" Manik said with a that's-a-fact look.

"Ya dumbhead bitches do but i am not one of them, so that rule is not needed but if you insist i will write it down but these rules are for the both of us so just dont fall for me" Nandini replied

" That won't be an issue i promise you. You are obviously not my type." Manik stood up from the stool and walked upto the fridge grabbing himself a canned drink.

"So Rule One: No falling for each other, so rule two will be that we'll definitely not tell anyone about this little comission of us"

"Count me in on that one but i never thought that you'll be the don't tell it to anyone type of girl" Manik said getting his hands on a fork to eat  the left over salad. He is definitely wierd like salad in the morning duh who even eats that kinds stuff. Not me.

" And what did you actually thought of me Manik"

" More like a flaunt me kinds girl" 

" Oh please there is nothing to flaunt about in you. I just don't want my friends to think so low of me since i am obviously getting involved with you and this will definitely degrade my  reputation" Nandini said flipping her hair back.

"Watch what you speak shortie" Manik ragged pointing his fork at her.

"OOh burn"

" So Rule Two: Nobody gets to know about this"

"Rule three is that we can't get involved with other people" Nandini says writing the rules down one by one.

"Looks like someone's jealous here"

" No i am not, i just don't want to wake up to the site of naked women walking around the same house i am in. Don't wanna burn my eyes since i ain't a lesbian."

"Fine but that goes to the both of us. No going out on dates with random bar guys like the stunt you pulled before" Manik snorted with a still irritated face from how he saw her with that guy, and he says he has no feeling we'll see.

"No bossing me around like a real girlfriend, Manik Malhotra takes no orders"

" we'll see about that but for now lets just write this one down"

" So are we done here miss we need rules, like duh these are some basic rules we had known nothing to make a big scene of"

" No we are not done just one last rule to write"

"And Nandini may i know what that is?"

"No sex involved" Nandini says with a breathe she never knew she was even holding before and Manik chokes on his salad.

" we can't what? Excuse me ? Have you freakin lost it or what"

" No i haven't i have thought this through and-"

"No i mean do you even know what friends with benefits even means?"

"Ofcourse i do Manik and it clearly does not importantly involves sex"

" Uh huh then what is the clear point."

"Look i clearly don't wanna have sex with someone i barely even know or have no feelings for so no sex. Either you are in or i am out"

"Fine no sex. Gosh you are unbelievable."

"So the final rules are:

Rule One: No falling for each other

Rule Two: Nobody gets to know about this

Rule Three: No involvement with other people

Rule Four: No bossing around / acting like real bf or gf

Rule Five: No sex

I hope we are done here"

" Completely goodie shoes, i can't take this anymore i have an empire to run"

" Yaya bloody millionare so Manik where do we put this? So that we don't forget" Nandini asks with a glint of innocence.

"Nandini stick it anywhere you want i give no shit about it. But wait what if anyone of us breaks any rule"

"Simple that person will have consequences"

"Oh i am scared, seriously Nandini we are not kids stop acting like one"Manik laughs and walks past Nandini to get dressed.

"Manik manik listen"

"Nandini not anymore enough of this stupid things"

"You asked for it"

"My apologies i should have thought about it but fine if you say so. If you break any rules i get to drive your car wherevere and however i want"

"No you don't get to touch my fine" Nandini replies in shock.

"Deal with it"Manik smirks back making nandini annoyed more than she ever was.

"Fine if you break any rule i get to use your guitar" nandini smiles michiveously.

"Nandini- fine deal now if you may allow i have to get to the office" Manik walks ahead but turns back again "Also i'll pick you up at 7 so be ready for our official date for our new relationship and please wear something nice" Manik turned back on his heels and disappears inside his room leaving an astonished Nandini behind.

"Damn Aiyappa. Why did i even get myself into this?"
