chapter nineteen : the agreement

Today was the night after the big dance ?? Adrien and I took sometime to still think things through ?? Not saying that we want to be apart or something ?? It is just that we cant truly be together until I feel like we are ready .

Lots of people would probably judge us for dating anyway ?? I mean I'm his co worker not his girlfriend?? I mean lots of people would probably either be surprised or very upset with Adrien?? I mean he has worked so hard to prove himself and do this for his mom that recently passed away ? I dont want his job to go down because of me ?? That would kind of be bad in my opinion??

The last time I heard someone confessed to Adrien was chole his assistant?? She wanted to be with him so bad ?? I'm pretty sure she was not happy when Adrien and I were starting to get closer as co worker and boss ?? But also as friends ??

Anyways I was in my way to work when I accidentally ran into chole ?? She knew who I was right away ?? She started to talk with me ??

Chole : I cant believe you of all people I bump into today ?? Ugh how annoying?? So what do you want ?? You already took Adrien from me?? Now what ??

Marinette: umm excuse me ?? I never took him away from you ?? He just wasn't into you ?? That was the problem?? You know you can't force love on anyone ??

Chole : oh excuse me ?? I wasn't even forcing love ?? Adrien always wanted to be with me ?? He never even loved you until you started to confront him at your stupid college for designing or whatever ?? He was MY MAN UNTIL YOU TOOK HIM AWAY FROM ME!!!! I hope you satisfied huh??

Marinette: look chole I wasn't trying to take him away from anyone ?? I just wanted to achieve my dream ?? Something that you dont have ?? I want to go places but all you want to do is marry people that you are obsessed with ??

Chole looked at me and nd pushed me on the ground. People started to stare and I got back up and looked at her . She smiles and saw someone coming so she pushed me again and it was Adrien.....

*He started to talk to the both of us ...*

Adrien: what the hell chole ?? What are you doing here ?

Chole : hmmmph I can be here you know??

*Adrien helped me up and started to confront me more in front of him ...*

Marinette: okay chole what do you want ?? Apparently she hates me because she is still in love with you Adrien?? *I looked back at him *

Adrien : look chole I'm not in love with you and you know that ??

Chole : than why did you care about this blueberry fish your seeing ?? She is nothing to you ?? She is poor and ugly and self-centered?? She couldn't even care about someone like you even if she tried ?? I would probably laugh if that ever happened ??

*Marinette went closer to chole and stands In front of her face *

Marinette: look chole I have been nice to you but I cant take this anymore ?? Look I didn't even steal adrien okay ? Are you freaking happy ?? I said it ?? And yes I may be poor or not as rich as the both of you but at least I am humble and have my own job my own car ?? And dont have to use a taxi every now and then ??

Just because your rich doesn't mean that your better than the rest of us ?? And yes I have my own issues with my life but you have a jealously problem?? I see that now ?? Anytime someone is around your precious Adrien you get upset and want to bring bad karma to the rest of us ?? It not his fault that he has good taste in women ?? Okay ?? You just need to hurry up and get over him ?? I'm sick of you treating me like I'm nothing ?? Cause I'm not ??

I walked away from chole and Adrien. They looked both speechless and when I walked away more I tried to calm down ?? I was very upset but at first I knew why ?? My mom use to tell me all the time that rich people can be very mean and snobby sometimes ?? But Adrien isn't like them he is different??

As Adrien catches up to me he stops me and we started to talk once again ...

Adrien: marinette look at me?? Are you okay ??

*I moved his hands gently and keep walking *

Adrien : marine please talk to me ?? I'm here to help you ??

*I turned around and looked up at him with a sad smile and started to talk again ???*

Marinette: look at us Adrien?? Chole wasn't wrong I'm poor and your rich ?? Maybe it isn't meant to be ??

*I started to walk away when he grabs my hand slowly *

Adrien: marinette your different?? You said it before you wouldn't care if I was rich nor poor ?? Does it even matter?? What matters is that we could maybe make each other happy ?? Isn't that the most important thing ??

Marinette: yeah but what about your father and his big business that he keeps expanding ?? Look adrien I'm not going to keep dying my feelings for you ?? Of course I care about you and everything you do ?? But I don't want to stop you from doing something amazing with your business?? I dont want to cause not issues with your business nor your family ?? So I think it's best if we just leave each other be ?? What do you think ??

*I turned back around and started to walk away once again ?? He looked at me and ran in front of me and came up with an idea ? So he slowly started to move his lips and I started to listen just for a bit ... *

Adrien: okay marinette I have an idea ?? Why don't we at least date for a month period of time ?? If you think it won't work than we will break up ?? But if it does than we could at least hold on strong ??

Marinette: well that's doesn't sound like a bad idea but it also sounds a little risky but we could at least give it a try ?? But what about the public should they know ??

Adrien : hmmm well I mean when your ready we will tell the public together okay ?? *smiles at her cutely *

*Marinette smiles back At him and holds his hand while they walk back to the big building ?? She smiles and ince they reach othe big building they hold there hands tight as the walk inside the building together.... *
