Jovas was your typical Mexican young man. Born and raised in Mexico city, both his parents taught him many things due to the high crime ratting in the city. His father taught him how to handle weapons of high and low caliber his father trained him as his father once was trained in the mexican army; where he once served. On the other hand his mother taught him how to cook food, sew his cloth, cure wounds and other basic servival and day to day skills.

It was a typical afternoon for Jovas and his family. His father was training him once again and his mother was watching. But that would all change. As Jovas looked through the scoop of his fathers sniper riffle, he saw something strange. Muliple vehicles, in a single file line heading towards the city. they looked at each other with suprisment and packed their equipment. they headed home but just as they were entering the city two man with black mask stopped them at their trail. "paren el caro, stop the car' yelled one of them. they did as told but the men in the mask still forced jovas's parents out of their vehical. As Jovas stayed in the car he quickly hide their training weapons as his father had shown him. he knew that if the men in mask saw the high caliber weapons they would take it as a threat and wouldn't hesitate to kill them on the spot.

The men in black hopped into Jovas's parents's vehicle and drove it into the city. Jovas tried to pull a neck twist manover under cover but he found a brand new .22 pointed right at him. he didnt think again and sat down. as Jovas sat in the back of the car they entered the city but couldnt behlieve what he was seeing. men, women, and children being packed into huge trailer like vehicles by thousands of black masked men with weapons of mas caliber. Jovas looked to his left and saw his parents pushed against the wall being searched for weapons or anything they could use to defend them selfs with. as Jovas dad put up a fight after they had touched his wife unappropriatly, the soldiers that were in the car rushed out to help.

The soldiers slammed his father onto the floor and as Jovas saw he felt very angry. he reached for the chopper he had in the back of the car and rushed to his fathers rescue. he was later stopped by an uknown hit that knocked him onto the floor and blacked out. when Jovas woke he found himself and his family handcuffed in a dim lighted room. for much time they waited in silence. Jovas and his father both looked at each other once in a while but quickly looked away due to the shame of how they were handled. they were kept in the room for about 6 hours and than a men stepped into the room.

" Ahhh, i seen you guys put up a fight back there". "even the little boy tried to fight". said the man in a  taunting voice. " no tomes mi edad como una contra (dont take my age as a weakness)" said Jovas with a firm deep voice. " I may be young but there are many grown man that are not at my level" said Jovas with a big smerk. the man stepped up to the chair where Jovas was chained on to and back slapped him with all his might. Jovas's father jerked with anger as thus trying to break the hand cuffs to tear the man that had slappd his son apart. Jovas's nose bled but never did he show a sign of frightness nor pain towards the man.

the man order "refuersos' or back up and ordered for the family to be placed in a transportation vehicles. Jovas's mother looked with surprisement and asked the man where they eould be transported. the mans only respons was " a los campos to work". his mom looked at bot Jovas and his father with frightment in her eyes but knew better than to show weakness and whipped the look off of her self

the ride was continous and semed to have never stopped. Jovas felt his eyes close shut just as the truck jerked violently to a stop and woke him up. he heard the other truck breaks squick as they came to a stop. he heard alot of doors open with the proccedment of many man banging on the trucks screaming "get up and get out!" then they procceded to open the trucks up and told veeryone to get in a singe file line as they exited the truck and lined on the attendece table where they had to write their names and how many family member they had.

Jovas's family proceded to do as so and after worth all the people aquired from the city were given a piece of roasted chicken along with bread and sopa aguada. after that they had an assembly in which the men they had met befor in the room explained that they were being takin into a camp to help out a group named "Golfo". they either had to sign up to help make their weapons, fix uniforms (mostly women), cook, and they as well explained how the needed more soldiers and most of the men and young men would have to in roll in to their army and attend an 12 hour each day training camp.

Jovas and his father both knew if they were drafted into their army they would have to show no sign of knowledge towards weapponary nor any type of training they had done befor. they would have to act as if they had never be trained to do anything. they knew they had to do so, so that the trainers would not know what they are capabale of doing or what they could use against them.

Jovas knew more than everyone that he would have to keep his head high and not break to what ever they had for him.
