Unsuspecting

If only you weren't so naive. Maybe you could have changed the outcome of your dilemmas.

If only you listened to your mind rather than your hopeless heart. Maybe the incessant white noise of your inner monologue would quiet for once.

If only you stopped seeking something that doesn't exist. Maybe you'd be happier.

All of these If's won't change what is. You're alone because of the choices you made. No amount of imaginary scenarios will change the reality of the present. Nor will blaming others for your own actions.

You're not the problem. What others have done to you doesn't define who you are.

You're loved and always will be. You deserve better, don't settle for anything less.

Don't fall into this cycle of self doubt and madness.

Life goes on and so will you.
