1st Birthday

You know when Naruto read that Itachi and Sasuke were ending it soon, he thought he meant another month without Itachi, however. Jiraiya has managed to kill Orochimaru but not without loosing his life as well, Tsunade surely cried for months after that, she took a steps down from Hokage and for a while Shikaku was doing that job not by choice however.

However today was Emi's first birthday and still no sign of Itachi and or Sasuke and Kurama came back, but he wasn't able to locate Itachi, most of his chakra resides in Naruto and the clone chakra didn't regenerate when it was gone, Kurama proofed back to Naruto's body.

However not by choice.

Naruto didn't want to seem anxious in front of his daughter who laughed and giggled as she walked around the home that Naruto moved into.

Naruto didn't want to raise his child in an apartment anymore, Emi was getting bigger, and could access stuff easier. So Tsunade made him and Itachi a marriage license and he was able to move into the Uchiha clan home. He was helping repopulate the clan anyways, and they will have a branch clan of Uzumaki Uchiha

However he was decorating the house when he felt someone pull at his leg. He looked down and saw Emi pat her stomach, and Naruto smiled.

"It is lunch time Emi-Chan, would you like potatoes?" The child beamed at her favorite food and Naruto picked her up and sat her at her small table in the living room, putting on some cartoons while he made her a quick lunch. The door opened and closed and he heard a dog barking.

"Kiba, tell yourself dog to shut up." Naruto said calmly, and Kiba chuckled and went into the living room.

"Happy birthday Emi-Chan. Kiba-Nii brought you a gift. You can only open it tonight." Kiba said kissing the toddler on the forehead and the toddler giggled.

Kiba set the present on the table, and walked into the kitchen. He saw Naruto holding a bowl of mashed potatoes, and Kiba stood at the door with his arms folded.

"Amegakure is in ruins. Sources say the Uchiha's caused it." Naruto's folded his arms with a sigh.

"It's been so long since I've seen Itachi. He might be dead." Naruto said softly, waiting on the potato's to cool down, Kiba shook his head.

"I'm sure he isn't. You know how thorough Uchiha's are. Have some more faith." Naruto exhaled calmly and heard the Emi had started to cry before he thought.

How much faith was he supposed to have?

Itachi stood among the carnage of Amegakure. He finally had done so, he had managed to capture Obito and Sasuke had managed to capture Kakashi. The duo didn't  sustain more than a few scratches and a huge amount of chakra drain. So they decided to hurry home. They needed to head home.

"It's August tenth." Sasuke said and then his eyes widened.

"ITS AUGUST TENTH."

"It is little brother, what's so important?"

"It just is, we need to make it home before sundown. Let's go." Sasuke said and Itachi was confused but did as he was told, taking off as fast as his brother who seemed so excited and he wondered what the occasion even was that made his brother this..... Happy.

Naruto watched as his home filled up with his friends and family. Tsunade and Shikaku along with Yoshino brought the cake and the biggest gifts for the one year old. His graduation class came, along with Neji, and Tenten. Temari was also there. Emi looked so happy surrounded by Naruto's class and everybody adored the child, Naruto sighed calmly and found himself in the corner of the home watching as Emi looked so happy.

So why was he crying?

Shikamaru always had a sixth sense for Naruto, and he held Emi at the moment, and so he quickly handed Emi off to his mother and told his wife to be that he was checking on Naruto. Naruto was in the corner of the room crying. Shikamaru led him out of his home and on the staircase they sat while a Naruto just continued to cry.

"You miss him, it's been a long time." Shikamaru said calmly as Naruto leaned into him.

"A year and some months. You've had a child with a man you can't even see. Isn't this what he meant by unnecessary sadness?" Naruto calmed his crying down to mere sniffles.

"Yes, but how was I supposed to control my instincts?"

"You weren't, I'm sure he should be home soon." Shikamaru looked up and seen a battered Sasuke and Itachi walking towards them quietly.

"I'm certain he'll be home. He misses you too you know." Shikamaru said and Naruto sat up and looked at him.

"You can't say that, unless your lazy eyes look at Itachi. You can't say that he'll come home." Itachi gave a smile and spoke calmly.

"I'm home." Naruto froze slightly, while Shikamaru smiled, Sasuke held a smirk. Naruto turned his head from Shikanaru to see the Uchiha brothers standing there, they both held small smiles, but Itachi's was a lot more softer. He stood up and placed a hand at each brothers forehead placing healing chakra into them. Stepping away he spoke.

"ITACHI YOU FUCKING IDIOT." Naruto screamed jumping into Itachi and Itachi smiled fondly.

"I missed you too." Naruto calmly tightened his hold on the older Uchiha while Sasuke patted Naruto's head and went to head inside with Shikamaru and there was blood curdling 'SASUKE' that belonged to Sakura.

"You idiot, you left me alone for a year and months. You know how lonely it is to go through a heat with no mate." Naruto said looking at Itachi and Itachi kissed the bridge of Naruto's nose and sighed.

"That was not my intention, but I'm glad to be home. Why are you throwing a party?" Naruto smiled and leaned in to kiss Itachi softly, the kiss was passionate and when Naruto pulled away and jumped down from Itachi's arms and he lead Itachi in the house he wore a soft smile.

"You'll love it." Naruto said, he opened the door and saw everybody standing there, and Itachi smirked.

"It's somebody's birthday. I suppose I can party. Who's birthday?" Itachi asked, and the occupants all held smiles however nobody spoke until Naruto chuckled and then called out.

"Emi-Chan, come to mommy." Itachi eyes widened, and Sasuke and Shikamaru stepped aside to reveal a toddler who had straight onyx hair, and blue eyes that looked exactly like Naruto's, and tanned skin and whisker marks, the child giggled and ran to her mother and Naruto scooped his child up and kissed her nose.

Emi giggled and looked to Itachi, his eyes was still as big as saucers and the room was quiet, and she shocked the room with what came tumbling out of her mouth.

"Mama and Papa." Naruto and Itachi's eyes widened even more, and the guest that came for the child were also shocked, Itachi took the child from Naruto's arms and gave a warm smile.

"Yeah Papa." Itachi said watching as the child giggled and snuggled into her father. Itachi only looked down at Naruto to see him smiling softly.

"It was a girl. But she does have my eyes." Itachi smiled softly.

"She does, and she's perfect." Naruto and Itachi shared a kiss and Naruto looked to the group.

"Let's party then."
