Mangle is actually a version of foxy. But she is very different from foxy. As you can tell from the game she is ripped up and pieces of its endoskeleton are coming out of her suit. The reason is, when it was a full animaltronic, kids used to play with it a lot and it was always thorn apart. So it always needed repairs until they just left it thorn.
FNAF 3 update: it might take place in 2017 because if you go on scottgames.com and go on his files you can see it takes place 30 years later from FNAF 2.
