Chapter 16
I think that was the sign I was asking for. Though, on the other hand, I have a doubt on it. I said to myself beforehand that I won't take her answer seriously. But here I am... finding some time to have a talk with Cia about that matter.
But I just couldn't.
We are both busy getting through college.
And I'm not that kind of person that would disregard studying just to make porma.
Love can wait.
For now, I have to finish my Interior projects... or what we prefer to call plates.
And if I was busy last academic year, this year's a triple of that. I'm a BS Interior Design student and we're making tons of plates every week. I spent countless of sleepless nights finishing all the plates I'd have to submit on the other day.
And I needed to get through this for four years because I am a fresh graduate from high school.
"Fuck! I did it!" I shouted when I finished all my plates by 5:30 in the morning. Now, I'd just have to carry these and submit it to my professor.
I just had a quick breakfast because I'm running late to school.
"Gab?"
"Cia."
"Those are your plates?" she asked although it's absolutely obvious.
"Yeah."
"Can we talk?"
"Um, can we do it later? I really needed to be there right now," I answered.
"Oh, sorry for disturbing you. I will wait for you in the cafeteria instead."
"Okay. I'll meet you there once I got this done."
I smiled before leaving her. I also wanted to talk with her but now is not the perfect time for that.
Cia can wait. My prof's deadline can't.
"Oh, Mr. Ignacio, you're just in time," said by my prof.
I smiled. "Pinilit pong maka-abot," I politely replied.
Mr. Manimtim shook his head in disappointment.
I stood there, not knowing what to say.
"Job well done, Mr. Ignacio! You can leave now," Mr. Manimtim finally said after a couple of minutes of checking my works.
I genuinely smiled. "Thank you, Sir."
God... I didn't know that I was holding my breath for a long time.
