How we met~
Y/N's POV:
Hello, I'm Lee Y/N, I'm 22 years old. Living alone in the United states. I was born in South Korea but got raised in the USA but then my parents migrated to Japan when I was 18.
Like everyday, I arrived to the café nearby my college to work there. It gave me a comfy vibe and reminded me of home. It was like a routine for me now, I'd go to college then head off to the café to work on my assignments. It doesn't get much recognition so there aren't a lot of people there. Anyways, opening the doors, I can smell the scent that inspired me to start my work here. I sat on my usual place, the seat in the corner of the small café by the window. "Excuse me~" I tried calling for him and only, my best friend whom I met here in the café 7 years ago.
(Flashback, 7 years ago)
It was all very stressful these few days and all I want to do now is to just close my eyes and fall into deep slumber but I couldn't. I had to submit 5 important assignments in 2 days. I just needed somewhere to relax in and feel the encouragement to study in. I just exited my high school not wanting to go to my house and meet the same environment to study in. I wanted to change my life style. Just when I was about to loose hope, I found it. A café that isn't so far from my school and it just looked like it could fit my ideal type of place o study in.
I pushed the doors open expecting the café to be full and filled with families and their kids talking at one time but instead, it was a really calm place with only 2 couples and 3 individuals working on papers and on their laptops just like how I was about to. I was looking for a seat which can be my usual working seat if I liked working here.
And I did found one, a table with 2 chairs at the corner of the café and a window by the side. I walked over to the table and placed my bag on a chair then sat on the chair next to it. I took out all my tools and books and placed them on the table then organized them so my when I start working, I shouldn't be messing with everything and be my clumsy self in public. As I took out the first book to start working on, I heard my stomach grumbling so I thought of ordering a meal.
I was too shy to call for someone so I just went to a waiter who was walking away from a table he served and asked him if I could order. I grabbed his arm to stop him from walking more but them immediately lifted my hand from his arm as I realized what I did.
-"How can I help you?"
-"I, Uhh, I w-want the menu to order a meal" I was lost in his big doe eyes and admired his features that I didn't realize he was giving me the menu.
-"Miss, are you ok?"
-"Y-yes, thank you" I bowed as I took the menu then went back to my place.
And just like that, day by day, you get to discover more about yourselves and watch each other grow up to the point where you became best friends from just being 2 strangers.

Jungkook's POV:
Here comes another day when she steps in the café making my eyes dart to her figure and only hers and making my heart flutter. She walked in with her backpack on one shoulder. Her wavy, long,brown hair dangling down from the other side. She looked at me and smiled and I returned the smile with Eugene's eyebrow furrow. She giggled cutely making me aw internally. She sat down in her already reserved seat since 7 years and called from someone to go take her order. And I knew she wanted me.
-"What do you want now, dumbass?" She then gasped afterwards which made me chuckle
-"Aren't you supposed to greet my warmly like 'How is my lovely and beautiful best friend doing?'" How much I wanted her to replace 'best friend' by 'girlfriend'
-" What does my majesty want?" I said as she chuckled lowly
-"I want a piece of the red velvet cheesecake water you have and water"
-"How many times have I told you not order sweet foods, huh? Y/N you have diabetes and you should help me and the doctor to cure you!" I said and she realized what she was planning to eat
"Y/N I didn't mean to-" I was about to apologize when she interrupted me. "Jungkook you don't have to apologize, all you did was just give me an alarm to stop my obsession to sweets. And I appreciate that you're looking out for me and that you care for me. I was just stressed and I needed to relieve it all out on a piece of cake" I was about to talk when she cut me again "And I know you said we can't talk it out but I just missed the sweet taste in my mouth, I'm sorry"
"Are you free or will you take long in doing your assignments?"
-"Umm, no. I just have 2 small assignments, why tho?"
-"I just wanted to tell you something after my shift finishes"
-"Oh ok, if that's the case then I'll try to finish quickly cuz I think your shift ends in 25 minutes, right?" Yes, we get to know everything about each other. Even the little details but I couldn't get to know about her feelings towards me. But today I got the courage to open up the only thing I didn't in 7 years, my endless love towards her. "I'll go back to work, and I'll get you a sandwich and water." I said as she nodded in agreement.
[TIME SKIP]
I left the café and went outside watching her packing her stuff to come and here I was, rehearsing the words I prepared for this moment. I was recollecting my thoughts when she snapped me out of them.
-"So what do you want to tell me, kookie?" Its a now or never thing, Jungkook. Man up!
-"I've been this to myself ever since I saw you and I wanted to tell you. I don't know how to start this as it may be an end of our good relationship now or if my dream would come true, for you to love me the way I do. I know this may be a risk but its the only thing that can unburden this feeling. I love you, Y/N"
Author's Pov:
You stood there in utter shock, he has the same feelings?! That must be a dream.
-"Pinch me please, like right now" you said slowly thinking you didn't just say it out loud.
-"W-what?"
-"Oh my, did I say that out loud" you asked before saying your answer, whether you'll accept him or reject him. And he nodded giving you the answer you didn't want.
"So what do you sa-" Not giving him a chance to complete for the third time today, you cut him off with a soft kiss. Jungkook didn't process what's happening for the first 10 seconds but eventually responded back by kissing back and pulling you closer by your waist as you proceeded to play with his soft hair afterwards.
"Y/N would you be my mine?"
"Doesn't this answer you or shall I do more?" You asked with a smirk earning a giggle from him and seeing a tint of red creeping its way to his cheek.
You went from strangers to friends, from friends to best friends and from best friends to a couple.
