*that night*
Alex's pov

I walked into the Great Hall and sat down beside George.

"Hey Alex!"

"Hey George! So, I have news."

"News? What is it?"

"I told dad about us dating, and he wants us to go to the dungeons tonight for dinner with him."

"Anything for you, Alex. Even if it means dealing with the devil himself."

"George! That's my dad!"

"Well, if you want to get technical,"

"George..."

"Alright! Fine, I'll shut up. I'll see you tonight."

"See ya!"

It was only about an hour later when I headed to the boys dorms to find George. I walked in to see him sitting in dress robes curled up in fetal position on his bed. Fred and some other guys from our year were rubbing his back and telling him that "he would be fine," and "it's just one night." I walked over to him.

"George? What's wrong?" He straightened up and I saw his eyes were red, possibly from crying. I wrapped my arms around his stomach, seeing as I was a good bit shorter than him.

"Alex, sorry, just a bit nervous," he left the hug and looked at me, "Woah, you look stunning." I blushed. I didn't do too much, just a black cold-shoulder dress with heels. I didn't do much makeup, just some mascara, blush, and highlighter.

"Thank you. And you look dashing, as always."

"So, are you ready to go?"

"Of course!"

"Hey, you might need these!" Lee yelled as he threw something at George. George grabbed it and hid it from me.

"It's just dinner, don't be gross," George said as he threw whatever it was back. "C'mon, we can't be late."

"Okay."

We started the walk to the dungeons. One thing I hated about going from our common room to dad's classroom was the temperature drop. You can feel the bumps rising up on your arms. George reached over and wrapped his arms around me.

"Babe, are you cold?"

"Yeah, but I'll be fine."

"No, it's okay," George slipped off the top layer of his dress robes, which was very similar to a suit jacket mixed with robes, and slipped it over my shoulders.

"Thank you," I said barely over a whisper. He pressed his lips to my forehead.

"You're welcome."

We walked for another 2 minutes and we had finally reached my dad's classroom. My feet were killing me!

"Alexis. Mr.Weasley. Come in."

"Professor Snape, thank you for inviti-"

"No, when you are here with my daughter, you will call me sir or Mr.Snape. Got it?"

"Yes sir, I'm sorry."

"Can we just eat already! I groaned from behind George. They both turned their heads in my direction. I could see my dad's face soften and George grin.

"Alright, dig in." All of the sudden, a bunch of desks vanished and were replaced by a small dining table with three seats. Right after it materialized it became covered in food. I walked over to the left side of the table while George went to the right. My father, as expected, sat at the head.

"So, what are your intentions with my daughter? Do you plan to lead her on and break her heart?"

"Dad!" I whisper yelled at him. He gave me a look.

"Sir, I would never do that to Alex. I love her!" I mentally face palmed. Never say "the l word" the first time meeting the parents.

"You love her? Really? You two are children, what do you know about love? Neither of you know what love is yet. So don't pretend you do." I looked from my father to my boyfriend. Dad looked like he was going to bite George's head off and George looked like he was about to get his head bitten off.

"Please stop it! Can we just eat and have a normal conversation? Or if not just eat in silence?"

They both looked at me and looked away.

Well, I guess they picked the silent option.
