Lauren's pov

I walk over to camilas house and knock the door, it was opened by her mom I smile and she smiles back.

"Hey, is camila here?" I ask, she nods

"Yes, she's just up in her room you can go straight up, im cooking at the moment" she said, I nod

"Thanks" I say, she smiles and I walk in going to the stairs, I walk straight into camilas room since I could smell her sent from a mile away.

"Hey camila" I say, she jumps looking at me

"Jesus! I fucking just saw Jesus!" Camila squealed, I laugh

"What do you bloody want?" She asked, I smile

"Well..." I open my jacket and place buddy on her bed

"How long was the poor guy in there?" She asked, I chuckled

"2 minutes, he loves it" I say, she smiles and plays with him

"Why did you come here with him?" She asked, I frown

"Well...yesterday you loved him so I thought you would like to see him again...also, I kinda wanted to see you again" I mumble the last bit, she smiles and looks at me.

"I wanted to see you both again too" she said, I smile

"You know, you could always come over...I wouldn't mind if you came over everyday" I say, she smiles and bites her lip softly.

"Well, now I know" she said, I smile lightly and she smiles wider

We talk getting to know each other for a while, we got close in a short period of time, I was now sat next to her with my kitten curled up in my lap, she was petting him as he slowly fell asleep.

"Hey girls, I just wanted to ask if Lauren was staying for dinner" Sinu asked, I smile and nod

"If you wouldn't mind" I say, she giggles and nods

"It's perfectly fine...aw it's the kitten from the other day, he's adorable" she said, I smile

"Thank you" I say, she nods

"Well, dinner is ready I just need to dish it up" she said, I nod and camila gets up and I pick buddy up and place him on one of her pillows, we then walk downstairs.

"Would you like meat Lauren?" Sinu asked, my head shot up and I nod she giggles

"Oh, your eyes just flashed do you want me to close the blind on the kitchen window?" She asked, I frown then realise she thought the sun was in my eyes, when in reality they genuinely flashed.

"No I'm okay, but yes I'd love some meat" I say, she nods and placed some down on my plate and put it in front of me.

"I haven't had meat for a while" I say my voice getting husky, I pretend to clear my throat

"If you don't mind I need to use the bathroom" I say, Sinu nods with a soft smile and camila was looking at me weirdly, I rush to the bathroom to cool myself down. I genuinely haven't had meat in a long time and my wolf is getting a little too excited, I put some water on my face to cool me down and take a few deep breaths and go back to the dining room.

"Sorry" I say, Sinu shook her head

"No, it's completely fine" she said, I smile and sit down

"Mamí where's papí?" Camila asked, I watch as Sinu placed hers and camilas plate down then sat down

"He's still at work sweetheart, it's a late day" Sinu said, camila nods and I drink some water and look at the meat then camila.

"Uh, okay..." she mumbled looking at me

"Okay, lets eat" Sinu said, I smile cut my meat with a soft smile

After the meal, camila looks at me and then her mom

"Mom Lauren and I will be in my room, we don't want to keep buddy on his own too long" Camila said, her mom smiles nodding.

"The dinner was delicious sinu" I smile, she smiles back

"You should join us more often Lauren" she said, I smile

"I would love too" I say, she smiles and then camila and I go upstairs

"I need to tell you something" she said closing her door, I walk over to my sleeping kitten and place him in my lap.

"Sure" I say, I play with his fur as she sleeps

"I'm going to sound crazy" she said, I nod and look at her and smile softly

"I love crazy" I say, she nods and sits in front of me

"I don't know if it was real or if I'm going insane" she said, I giggle

"Camila, just say it" I say, she sighed and I already know what she was going to say

"The other day I was taking a walk, I went into the woods because it loops back around to our street...and when I was walking I saw this animal at first I thought I was a dog, but when I got a closer look I realised it was way to big to be a dog...it came to me and it understood me, it nodded and shook its head, so I asked if it was a wolf and it nodded, Lauren I saw a wolf and it didn't try to eat me, it let me play with it and I could pet her and if I wanted she would of let me cuddle her...and that's where I know your eyes from, they're the exact same as the wolves, the same colour shape and even when the light hits them, they shine the same" she said, I smile and nod I'm going to tell her, if she tells anyone they won't believe her, werewolves are not a thing well to other people.

"It was me" I say, she frowns

"I'm the wolf" I say, she giggles

"I'm not kidding" she said, I nod

"Nor am I, the wolf had grey and black fur right?" I ask, she nods lightly

"And I played catch with you" I say, she goes a little wide eyed

"I can prove to you I'm the wolf...but if you tell anyone, I'll actually bite your head off as I said downstairs, I haven't had meat for a while and I could eat a little more" I say, she gulps and nods.

"I-I won't tell anyone" she mumbles, I smile and nod

"Well, before we go I need to find a babysitter for buddy, let me call ally she loves him" I say, she nods and I do, we go to my house and ally comes I smile and say I won't be too long, we go to the same wood opening....
