Thanos' Throne Room

Sanctuary II, Space

Onboard the Sanctuary II, in the throne room, Gamora was sitting on the floor when she was approached by Thanos, who was carrying food for her.

"I thought you might be hungry," Thanos says offering her the food.

Gamora takes the food, looking up at Thanos and angry expression forms on her face before she throws the food at his throne.

Looking to the Throne, "I always hated that chair," Gamora spits.

"So I've been told. Even so, I'd hoped you'd sit in it one day," Thanos says approaching his Throne.

"I hated this room. This ship. I hated my life," Gamora says.

Walking up His Thrones steps, "You told me that too. Every day. For almost 20 years," Thanos replies sitting down.

"I was a child when you took me," Gamora begins.

     "I saved you," Thanos says.

"No. No. We were happy on my home planet," Gamora says.

"Going to bed hungry, scrounging for scraps. Your planet was on the brink of collapse. I'm the one who stopped that. Do you know what's happened since then? The children born have known nothing but full bellies and clear skies. It's a paradise," Thanos counters

"Because you murdered half the planet," Gamora says bitterly.

"A small price to pay for salvation," Thanos says.

     "You're insane," Gamora exclaims.

"Little one, it's a simple calculus. This universe is finite, its resources finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correction," Thanos explains.

"You don't know that!" Gamora shouts.

Thanos gets up and approaches Gamora, "I'm the only one who knows that. At least, I'm the only one with the will to act on it. For a time... you had that same will as you fought by my side. Daughter," he says

"I'm not your daughter. Everything I hate about myself you taught me," Gamora spits.

"And, in doing so, made you the fiercest woman in the galaxy. That's why I trusted you to find the Soul Stone," Thanos says, making Gamora look up at him.

"I'm sorry I disappointed you." Gamora sarcastically says.

Kneeling down to Gamora's eye level, "I am disappointed. But not because you didn't find it." Thanos began, "But because you did. And you lied,"

Gamora looks around, her back was turned as the bulk door lifted, "Nebula," with much concern in her voice, "Don't do this," She replies looking towards Thanos.

"Some time ago, your sister snuck aboard this ship to kill me," Thanos says.

"Please don't do this," Gamora begs.

"-And very nearly succeeded. So I brought her here. To talk." Thanos says clenching his gauntlet.

Nebula begins to scream at her robotic parts are being pulled apart, "Stop. Stop it." Gamora says, Grabbing the gauntlet, "I swear to you on my life. I never found the Soul Stone."

Accessing Nebula's memory it began to playback from her eye in the form of holographic projection.

"You know what he's about to do. He's finally ready, and he's going for the stones. All of them."

"He can never get them all," Gamora says,

     "He will!" Nebula says.

"He can't, Nebula. Because I found the map to the Soul Stone and I burned it to ash. I burned it." Gamora spits.

The projection disappears, "You're strong...Me. You're generous...Me. But I never taught you to lie. That's why you're so bad at it," he says raising his Gauntlet. "Where is the Soul Stone?" He spits.

Gamora remains silent, prompting Thanos to use the gauntlet to torture Nebula once more, making her scream in agony.

Gamora caves, "Vormir!" she screams, making Thanos stop  Nebula's torturing.

Gamora approaches Nebula, "The stone is on Vormir," She clarifies.

     "Show me," Thanos orders.
