"you stalker what are you doing here?" I poked him on his chest without caring about my surrounding.

"Excuse me I am not stalking anyone from where did you get the idea" he counters.

"Why are here then what are you doing here who invited you as long as I remember dad didn't..........oh shit" I bit my tongue Everyone chuckled. When I turned around I was stunned and embarrassed when I saw mom dad uncle aunty watching us with slightly open mouth.

Ok did I just made a complete fool out of myself. Realisation hit me he must be son of older couple.

"Yes you're right I'm invited by your parents if you think I'm stalking you then you must be dilusional"  no he did not just insulted me that too in front of my parents standing in my house.

"Ok so I assume you guys meet before" dad must've felt he needs to clear things up.

"Yes" we both said at the same time.
"Than it must be easy for us to proceed right Malhotra ji" dad said while hugging uncle.

"Come Everyone let's sit down"

We settled in drawing room everyone talking about history of our grandparents how they used to stay at the same colony and anything that comes to our mind.

We are actually having good time eating snacks except the fact that the man is irritating me with his expressions like he don't want to be here.

Dad suggested that we go and have dinner which is the best thing because I'm famished. We went to dinning room to have dinner.

"Why don't you sit next to kareena Sidharth I'm sure you will get bore sitting next to us" his dad mentioned which I didn't like a bit but didn't say anything.

"Why not dad why not" he murmured which I heard and glared at his way but the dumb man just smirked and started digging.

After having a hearty meal we all went to sit and have our desert in the garden which is also one of my favourite place.

I was kind of feeling restless so decided to have a walk telling dad that I'll be back I started but groaned because dad and uncle suggested that my walk should be interrupted by the one and only Sidharth himself Malhotra.

We both are walking side by side but none of us said anything which is little awkward because I'm never quite.

"So what do you do other than bumping with people"

Did he actually said that "I don't bump with people I am working as well as studying" I am proud while saying this.

"Oh ok sure you don't really bump but you accuse them when they're invited to your house. Right?"

"Ohh I'm sorry about that I had no idea you was invited." I apologized since it was my fault in that.

"You should be I don't even know why dad told me to tagg along I had a party to attend"

My mouth gape open he's rude very rude. I don't even want to have this walk anymore.

"I'm going back you stay here with the rude nature of yours idiot" I came back to join my and his parents.

"Beta you are here come we have something to talk it's about your and Sidharth's future"

"Ok" was the only reply I could make when I was still wondering what it could be.

"Sidharth come here son" he made his way seat besides me.

Dad started "the purpose of us meeting today is something that involves both of your future and we would really appreciate if both of you think about it before taking decision"

Dad is watching both of us with concentration that it's difficult to understand what is it.

"We want both of you to get married"

No no he did not just say that was it really what I heard.

"Dad did you just say marriage" Sidharth asked with his mouth opening up like a jelly fish.

"No I can't" I replied first because this is not what I imagined it will be. I'm not ready to get married let alone with this walking attitude stick.

"Yes dad how can you think that I will marry her or anyone to be precise I don't want to marry anyone oh god this is not right" he blabbered.

"I know both of you are not ready but talk about it it's not decided by us it was a promise given by your grandpa to his grandpa beta they wanted to join both the faimly together" dad reasoned out.

This is not right why will grandpa  promise me to someone that he don't know he don't even know my choice. Wait even I don't know choice I'm still very young to get married and he looks like he is in his late twenties or maybe starting his thirties very soon how can I marry someone with this age gap.

When I was thinking about all this everyone was watching me with big eyes.

" Do you want my answer right now dad I can't and you know it" I am literally pleading.

"Ofcourse not beta we will talk about it some other time. I think we should go right Darling" Anand uncle smiled at my way which should assure me but it didn't.

"Yes sure" they made there way to exit when aunty grabbed me and here goes the plan of escaping.

While sitting in car aunty told me "I really like you to be my daughter in law think about it he's not bad but moody sometimes I know you'll be a good choice for my bacha god bless you beta"

I am stunned did she just implied something nope I'm not falling for it.

Without galncing at my parents I went to my room to have some much needed my time when someone knocked on my door. I am in no Mood of conversation so I just yelled as politely I could with the scenario.

"Mom or dad I don't think I want to talk about this right now can we shift it for tomorrow?"

"Sure beta just don't stress yourself we're here"

I am feeling bad by this is too much to sink in.
