I've been very busy with chores this spring. I'm glad I fixed this phone though. It turns out I just needed to plug it into it's charger. I found a house while I was exploring the edge of the forest. I'm always a bit hesitant to explore that area in fear of being found, but I was bored and curious enough to explore anyway. It's far out near the end of the forest. It must be one of those cabins people buy and only stay for the summer, but the guy who owns it is staying there for the whole pandemic quarantine thing. That's actually a pretty good idea considering the fact that this is a huge forest and there isn't anyone else around for miles and miles. He doesn't know I'm here though, and he hasn't left yet. When I saw the house and that it had electricity, I remembered the phone I had stored somewhere in my home. I left and decided to bring it with me the next time I had the chance to. It took me a while to find the phone, and even longer to find it's charger. So I guess now I have a phone. I don't have wifi or anything here in the middle of the forest, but I can walk miles across the forest to this house I found to use the internet. It doesn't have a password. I mean, this house is really far from civilization, so I guess he didn't think a secure password was necessary. The internet is really helpful though. If I ever feel like making something new or something, I can just look it up. Plus I get to make friends and talk to people. I've never had a phone before, and this was just my father's phone that I took with me when I ran away, so I still get a bit confused on how to do things. It's a good thing Google exists, otherwise I'd never figure out how to use this phone. I've also discovered something called "memes". Oh! Also, I've found cute videos of animals doing things. If I didn't love birds and cats before, I definitely love them now! Anyway, I have to hurry up and finish this. I have to go home before it gets too dark. The forest gets very dangerous at night, especially in somewhat unfamiliar areas like this place. I hope I'll have time to come back later! Until next time! - Avice
