The beginning of Jaime's life

(Hi- this is my first ever Wattpad story, criticism is appreciated. There's gonna language and mentions of alcohol and drugs, fair warning. I'm sorry if I didn't mention other warnings and I offend or trigger someone, it wasn't intended. Please enjoy!)

(3rd P.O.V)
It was a wet, cold night in Newfoundland, Canada when Jaime's mother, Gabbie Organ was in the hospital with Jaime. She was brought into the world on January 24th at 12:56 am. Gabbie and her husband, Scott were over the moon about their new baby, but what they didn't know is that on her 3rd birthday, they would lose her. A scruffy, hippie looking man by the name of Mark Karma, who came from somewhere in America but recently moved to Japan, which is where him and Jaime lived for the next 13-14 years. At the beginning, he was really nice to her. The reason he took her was because he is a mentally challenged man and the only way he could get a kid was to kidnap one, considering his criminal history. He has always wanted to have a kid, but no woman would fall for him and he could never adopt one. She lived in the house with him until about the age of 4. He asked her what her favourite flower was and he was gonna buy her the seed, and she answered. "Dandelion, dandelion! That one's so pretty!" That's when his thoughts on her changed, but he kept her anyways, just throwing her in the shed instead. Dandelions are considered weeds which gave Mark the idea of Jaime turning out as a weird and horrible child, it also gave him the thought that she was like him, mentally challenged. He hates that about himself, so it makes it worse for him if she was. Everyday, he would give he whatever was leftover from what he ate that day. Sometimes it was good food and sometimes it wasn't, and sometimes a lot or nothing at all. Mark wouldn't physically hurt Jaime often, but would when she disobeyed him, which she learned quickly not to do. Most of the physical abuse happened between the ages 4-7. Jaime got visited a lot from a few cats, a grey one, a calico one and a pregnant black and orange one. When she was 12, she helped the pregnant cat with what she had. She helped her give birth to 6 kittens, and 4 survived. The other 2 didn't make it and she isn't sure why. She named the mother Daisy, and daisy came back a few times a week, mainly for warmth for her kittens. Mark was known for getting either high or drunk, which caused him to act out a lot against Jaime. Marks quirk is called bear and it's pretty self explanatory. He has middle toned brown hair, ears and tail, pale skin and big black bags under his eyes. His eyes are bright pastel yellow. He has big K-9s and large claws that comes out of the tips of his fingers which has resulted in him having holes in them. Jaime has a large scar on her back that's mark had given to her a while back that she keeps hidden from people. She thinks that they will make fun of it.
