Anxiety sat on the ground in a corner of his room.

"I messed up AGAIN," he thought.
His breathing was faster than normal, and he could feel himself start to shake as he took deep ragged breaths. He knew that if he didn't calm down he would send himself into a panic attack.

What Roman angrily yelled at him was still repeating in his mind.

"All you do is mess everything up! You can't do anything right, and you definitely don't do anything helpful for Thomas!"

"I'm sorry," he whispered to the darkness, on the verge of tears, "I didn't mean to..."

All of the sudden he felt a presence in his room as everything started to spin. He shut his eyes tight, hands entwined in his hair. He had almost lost all control of his breathing, and his hands were going numb.

"Anxiety, are you okay?" who's voice? "Anxiety??" he couldn't place the familiar sound. "Is it okay if I touch you?"

Even without knowing who was there, he nodded his head, longing for a warm embrace to ground him, however, the unknown person simply layed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay, Anxiety, breathe," it was Logan, he realized, "remember? In for four seconds," he breathed in,
"hold for seven.... now breath out for eight. Good job, you're doing great, it's alright."

It helped for a little while, but it wasn't working as well as it normally did.

"Here, it's okay..." Logan took Anxiety's hand and placed it on his own chest. "Breathe with me, alright? Feel my chest rising and falling?" Anxiety nodded his head weakly.

"Good, try to make your chest rise and fall with mine, okay?" He spoke softly to the poor boy.

Logan breathed in and out slowly, and deeply, making sure he was moving drastically so Anxiety could mimic him. His lungs screamed for more oxygen, but he kept his slow pace for the other's sake.

Gradually, Anxiety calmed down, and was able to breathe normally. He looked at Logan, grief filled his eyes.

"Th-thanks........ I'm sorry..." he mumbled.

"For what? You have nothing to apologize for. What Roman said was uncalled for, and I merely wanted to check on you, because I know your, well, state of mind."

"Thanks, Logan..."

"Of course. What are friends for?"
Anxiety looked up at him surprised, and smiled a tiny bit. "I also happen to know that Roman feels extremely bad for his actions, and is stressing out about how he made you feel."

"Crap....I didn't mean to-"

"You did nothing wrong." he smiled sheepishly at Logan, who warmly returned the gesture. "We should probably, however, check on Roman. Oh, and Patton, who was also worried about you. As long as you are alright now?"

Anxiety nodded at Logan, who stood up and offered him a hand to help him up, which he took, and they went to greet Patton and Roman.
