Khushi wanted to leave but a cup of coffee sounded great at this moment.Might as well discuss some more business! She tried to deceive herself with a reason to stay in his presence some more.
Nodding her head she asked for a coffee.
As they both sat down and waited for their beverages to arrive Khushi held out a notebook which had designs sketched inside.
"Although this isn't your thing, I still wanna show you" she opened the notebook which had fascinating designs to offer, "this the vibe were going for. Its very wild almost messy. Not too put together but still looks as if a lot of effort has went into styling one outfit."
Arnav ran his eyes on the paper. Flipping the pages as he went. He liked the designs!
"These look great. I like what your doing here. It's a good change for pieces always well put together" he complimented.
She agreed with him and sipped on her coffee which had just arrived.
She decided to inquire him about the changes.
"So, how's everything going with the company shifted to a new country and all?"
"Very smooth actually. Much better than I had anticipated. It was a good change we came up with."
"Can I ask you something?" she asked.
"Go ahead" he encouraged.
"Why did you.... why did you move here when you were doing great in India?"
He stared at her for some good seconds.
"Everything reminded me of you. The house, my office, my cars, uncle aunty buaji, that vendor I used to buy you channay (roasted chickpeas) from, the temples. Everything" he expressed.
"I-" she begun but her voice caught in her throat before he stopped her from saying anything further.
"You don't have to say anything" he spoke again after a couple seconds of silence, "you're finally in front of me again" he passed her a sweet smile that melted her insides.
Not wanting to get distracted by all this she looked at her iPhone to check the time.
"I uhh... I have to go now. Thanks for the coffee"
She saw a look of disappointment flash across his face before he covered it with a smile.
Bidding goodbye to him she left, not sure of all the emotions running wild in her heart.

A couple more days went by and she had no contact with Arnav since their meeting.
Payal had called her to ask how she was and updated about how well Zaika was proceeding. She'd also requested her to visit Nani.
"Khushi dadiji tujhse milna chahti hai. Unko teray saath beth ker baatein kerna acha lagta hai." (Khushi dadi wants to meet you. She really likes sitting and talking together with you)
"Jiji mujhe pata nahi-" Khushi begun before Payal sternly cut her off. (Jiji I don't know)
"Tu ab bas kerday acha? Bohat hogaya tera I don't know this I don't know that. Tu yahan aye gi that's it. Aur waisay bhi kitnay din hogaye mein bhi teray sey nahi mili. You better get your ass here asap. Samjhi tu?" Payal scolded her sister, tired of making excuses for her. (You stop this now, do you get it? Enough of your 'I don't know this I don't know that'. You'll come here that's it. And I too haven't seen you from so many days. You better get your ass here asap. Do you understand?)
