I couldn't say no

The Library

May was sitting in the library with his friend he was pretty bored studying for exam on the other hand his friend was pretty much dedicated in studying the whole book before exam.

Callie was nose deep in the book, although she would much rather prefer reading something else. May was bored so he poked her on the cheek.

She ignored him. She was used to this kind of behavior. He playfully poked her thigh again."I'm bored" he said as he rested his head on the table looking at her.

She looked over. "If you focus on your studies then you won't be bored"

"I'm done ..I have studied enough to pass...after all it's not a big exam." He said before gently pulling her pony tail towards him.

She pushes his hand away. "You said that last time and you failed.

"I won't fail this time I promise" he said as he rubbed his feet against her shin.

"Uh-huh sure" she said in a flat voice not looking up once.

He leaned closer to her and said. "Don't worry you won't fail either' he said chuckling as he looked at her lips wanting to kiss her.

She rolls her eyes and He gently leaned closer without any warning and kissed her lips softly before pulling away.

"Sorry I really wanted to" he said smiling. He felt like he didn't do anything wrong.

She looks at him. "Im not your girlfriend" she's had to say this to him many time but he never seems to get it.

"I know" he said blushing. "But you are cute and I kinda like you" he said kissing her cheek again.

She leans away. "What the hell." She wiped off her neck giving him a look.

"come on...I thought we were close" he said a little upset. He thought they both were close friends and he liked her.

"This is not the time nor the place" she was clearly annoyed at this point. She put her stuff in her bag.

"it is never the place or the time" he mumbled before he started getting up. "I think I should go" he said winning, he was getting fed up with her not putting out.

She set her book down feeling a bit guilty. "Fine we can do it but not here."

"what? Are you doing this because I'm sad. I don't want it if it's out of pity" he said as he got up and started walking towards the exit.

"Fine take it your leave it. But you're the one passing it up" she said, she was tired of him acting like a simp to her and she was lonely so she thought 'why not?'

He sighed and walked back to her and kissed her neck softly. "Come on let's go to my place.." he said softly.

She grabbed her belongings and stood up. She looked at him wondering why he liked her so much.

Soon they were at his place. "so...is there anything you want to ask?" He asked gently letting her in. He took her to his house teasing her playfully the whole time.

"Uh. I don't know" she still had a low voice. She reallywasn't interested.

"umm okay" he said a bit confused and disappointed.

She sat on the couch looking around wondering what he's going to do. He say down too silent for a long time. She guessed he was just thinking.
