Chapter 1. Crazy First Day

I live on top of an abandoned cafe with my mother, dad was never in the picture. Mom had after she met my dad, love at first sight? Didnt last and he ran away from her when she told him she was pregnant and skipped the pill.

I have a kid of my own as well, no not like that...

It was only a year and a few months ago when me and mother where still unpacking and adjusting to living on top of the old cafe. Mom was at her 1st part-time job of the day when I heard harsh knocks that woke me up startled.

I got up from the couch and down the stairs, the place was really quiet so you could hear everything going on.

I opened the door to see a box with a small kid in it, on instinct I took him inside and read the note.

Hopefully someone is here, I dont care if you pass this creature to someone else like I did!

10 people abandoned this poor baby!" I yelled to myself

I made the kid cry

"Oh no, im sowy baby~" i used my baby voice

As i picked up the kid I saw it had werewolf ears just like mine!

"Your like me? Your not a freak"i said cheering the toddler

The kid was a boy, had curly dark black hair that had a purple hue in it in the light. His tips on his ears were more purple like his hair, his eye color was light orange brown. He saw my ears and stopped crying.

"I have ears too! See?" I say

"Yours are so cool!" He says

We started talking while I was thinking about how mom woyod react....

I heard the rustle of keys from the door that blocked people from coming into the upstairs. I stood up and hid the boy behind me even though he already was.

"Y/n m home sweety!" She said but stopped

"So, don't be scared or upset. But he was abandoned on the doorstep downstairs. 10 people passed him house to well....cafe?" I explain

She seemed rather calm

"Hello there" she say going down on her knees

"H-hi" the kid says still hiding

"Whats your name?"she asks

"He doesnt have one, he told me. C-can he stay? I feel like he should be here with me" i say

"With you? You dont have a job honey? You are only 14" she said worried

"If you think you can, im not stopping you. Ill set up a court day for sure approval" she said heading to the phone.
