Chapter 25

Hi so I didn't want to make a whole A/N for this announcement but this story is not over just yet, there's still a few more things that I need to finish but besides that I hope you all are enjoying the story. "Oh look at that Lis, they actually left the room" Levy sat up nudging Lis as Natsu and I walked over. 

"Well finally, I thought when we got back you would still be there." Lis joked watching us. 

"It's his fault" I pointed towards him sitting on a lounger taking off my cover up. "Cmon sit down stop being weird" I said looking at him and patted the lounger next to me. 

"It was not my fault" he grunted pushing the lounger next to mine so they were connected before sitting on it and wrapping an arm around my waist. 

"So, did he ask?" Levy asked leaning in.

"Yeah" her face lit up "I told him to try again and do better than in a hotel room half naked" her face dropped.

"Lucy you idiot" she sighed leaning back into her seat. 

"I knew we would be good friends" Lis laughed "You really know how to keep him on his toes"

I smiled at her and swung my legs over the seat and leaned back as Natsu took my hand and leaned back. "Natsu? Oh my gosh, darling its so good to see you" my eyes shot open as he tensed. 

"Evergreen?" I asked looked up at the woman standing over him. 

"The one and only. I see you're still with her" she said glancing at me "What brings you here? From what i've heard you rarely leave the office and here you are at a resort"

"I'm here with my girlfriend and her friends" he squeezed my hand.

"You mean your new girl, your ex, and some random friend of hers" she asked looking over at Lisanna and Levy "It's wonderful seeing you again Lisanna, tell your brother I said hi" she smiled before walking off swaying her hips.

"I didn't say yes" I looked up at him.

"Yet" he looked at me "You didn't say yes yet" he leaned down and kissed my lips softly. I placed a hand on the side of his face and kissed him again. "Speaking of, I've got to go" he pulled back from me untangling his hand from mine and getting up from the lounger.

"What?" I asked sitting up.

"It's a surprise" he smiled walking away.

"I've never seen him this happy you know" Lis said breaking the silence after some time my head turned towards her.

"When I met him he was just mad at the world" I said thinking back to when I first met him "This whole thing is because a stupid school project for journalism, and now look at this." I smiled looking around me "Never would I have thought that I would be sitting on a private resort with my best friend and Lisanna Strauss" 

"To be honest I thought he was going to die alone in his big house with Lillian following him like a little dog. But instead he found a great girl whose now a good friend of mine" she smiled grabbing my hand and squeezing it.

"Aww guys! This is so cute we should take a picture of this moment" Levy squealed jumping up grabbing her phone. "Go on get together" I got up from my lounger and went to Lis's and hugged her. We turned to the camera and smiled at it as Levy snapped away. "Okay now with me" she flipped the camera and fell on top of us "CHEESE" she shouted snapping selfies of the three of us smiling and laughing as we toppled over and fell out the lounger.

"Levy" I laughed "I can't breath" I pushed her off of me as Lis tried to get up.

"I need a drink, you girls want anything" she smiled dusting herself off.

"I'll take a sex on the beach" Levy said sitting back on her lounger.

"Make that two" I laughed sitting back on my lounger as Lis nodded and skipped off. "Send those to me" I smiled picking up my phone. "This is the best one" I laughed pointing at my screen. It was of the three of us right before we fell the camera was lightly blurred and you could see the terror in my eyes as we leaned back. "I'm posting these" I smiled opening instagram and posting two pictures, one of me and Lis hugging and the other one of the three of us smiling into the camera. The caption was 'the 3 Ls' and I tagged the both of them. 

"I'm back" Lis sang holding three drinks in her hands.

"Yay" I jumped up and took my drink from her as she placed hers on the little glass table in between the loungers. My phone wouldn't stop buzzing so I looked at only to find thousands of notifications from instagram,  I turned off the notifications and clicked it off sipping my drink watching the waves crash along the sand.

"I am so tired" I yawned as we walked into the room.

"Same, sitting in the sun all day really tires you out" Levy stretched walking over to her room. 

"Night Lev" all she did was wave and enter her room. 

"Hey Luce, I think there's a note on your door" Lis pointed out sitting on the couch. I walked over to my door and there was a note tapped to the door.

Come to room 517, all you have to do is just swipe the card

"Goodnight Lis" I said walking to the front door to the hallway. 505 511 513 515 517. I took out the key card that was in the note and swiped it in the door. The light flashed green and I pushed the door open. The room was dim, lit by candles and rose petals were scattered all over the floor in a trail, I walked in and closed the door behind me. "Natsu?" it was silent, I followed the petals to another door this one similar to the other room but instead of three separate rooms it was just the one. I pushed that door open and stepped inside. 

"Lucy Heartfillia" Natsu stood right in front of me holding two glasses of champagne wearing a suit. He handed me a glass.

"What is all this" I asked looking around at the bed with rose petals in the shape of a heart and candles illuminating this room as well. 

"You said to do better" he paused and gestured towards the room "And I did" he sipped the Champagne. 

"You aren't asking me to marry you right? especially not while I'm wearing a bikini" I asked sipping from my glass

"No, not yet" he smirked "This is just to ask you to be with me" he paused and took my hand that wasn't holding champagne "To ask you to be my girlfriend" he kissed the top of my hand.

"How can I say no" my heart leaped out of my chest as he pulled me to him and kissed me hard sending fire all throughout my body.

"You did this morning" he said against my lips.

"I just wanted to make you work for it" we didn't pull back, we just sat there hovering over each others lips.

"You certainly did" he backed up enough to take the glass out of my hand and place it on the end table before tossing me over his shoulder.

"NATSU" I screamed hitting his back. 

"That won't be the only time you scream that" he tossed me onto the bed and easily pulled off his jacket and shirt.
