Hi, my name is Mary Tommahin and I go to Learning Center Middle School.

I know what your thinking.

Yes, I know.

If it is a school, you are bound to learn in it but, it was called that because some parents didn't think we were learning so...

I was probably the most dorkiest kid in school.

I had strait A' s. I was on the decathlon. I was in Social Justice.

I was so nerdy.

I wasn't the most good looking person either.

I had brown hair, blue/gray/green/yellow eyes. I had bangs that were pulled to the side. I had an oval face. Medium sized lips. Thin eyebrows. A small mouth. An okay nose. Freckles. I was just so ugly.

This was my first year/day of middle school and I was scared.

Anyways a boy joined our class this year. He is sooo cute.

He was in all my classes but, always had trouble learning things.

When we were in class the on the first day we started learning right away and he was scratching his head not knowing what to do so I taught him. I got in trouble for talking but, after he explained that I was helping him the teacher said to keep helping him.

So I helped him, he got it, thanked me, and we went to our next class.

The next day, he needed help again so I helped him.

The teacher told me to come see him after class.

After class he told me he liked me teaching Connor how to do multiple step equations.

He decided that he would divide everyone into groups of two. One of them being the teacher the other being the student.

I said that was a great idea and we went our separate ways.

I walked into the hallway. Papers flying everywhere. Spit balls sticking to the wall. I waited for everybody to clear the hallways so I could get my books.

I made my next class in time and sat down in my assigned seat right next to Connor.

He smiled at me. What he didn't know was that I wasn't popular and he was.

I got hit with a spit ball. He saw who threw it and told him to stop.

I was like NOOOOO CONNOR. It was Nick, the most popular kid in school.

Luckily, they still excepted Connor.

I was like, thank god.

I mean, I don't want to be the one that would ruin his popularity.

I passed him a note after school explaining the DOs and DON'Ts.

He was like.... Ohhhhhhh no wonder!

I told him that he shouldn't hang out with me if he wanted to be popular.

He said he still wanted to be friends with me.

He gave me his number and we went our separate ways.
