It was mid-afternoon in the kingdom where dragons roamed, the lush green woods surrounding the large kingdom giving it the solitude of a small private paradise. A large bay sat at the east side of the kingdom, a large royal blue sea crashing into the shore with little to no violence, seemingly as calm as the villagers who walked happily down the stone-paved streets, talking with neighbors or trading in a fairly large marketplace that bustled with business. The large castle looked overwhelming tall compared to the small town houses, sitting at the perfect angle to where it didn't block out the sun, letting the bright rays of sunlight warm the villages down below. The silence was soon interrupted however, by a loud banging open of the palace doors, a young man with bright blonde hair having kicked them down.
The kings crown sat on his finger and he twirled it around, bouncing down the front steps and whistling. He walked with a cocky confidence, a pirate's hat sat unevenly on his blonde head, along with a long tan blazer that ended at the top of his knee-high leather boots, his white puffy pants and sleeves exposed, a black leather pouch slung hurriedly over his shoulder. His peaceful demeanor was soon obliterated and sent to hell by a loud clanging of armor through the halls near the entrance, deadly close to where the young man was. He swore and picked up the pace, sliding around corners and jumping over boxes or crates that lined the streets that where filled with small shops. People gasped and pointed at the shimmering crown in his hand which only made his ego inflate like a balloon. He stopped running and slid to a halt in the middle of the street, a large crowd staring as he put the crown on his head, pinkies up in what he assumed was a royal fashion. Everyone gasped and he went to bow, forgetting that the delicate crown wasn't as stable as his pirates hat.
His eyes widened and he scrambled to catch the crown, throwing his hands out in a panic. He dropped his hat and grabbed the crown in his both hands, sighing in relief. "It's fine! It's still perfectly valuable!" He was interrupted once again by a tavern door being opened across the stone street from him, a large muscly man pointing to the crown in his hands. "THERE HE IS BOYS! LETS GET HIM AND THAT REWARD!" they charged down the wooden steps, and the thief simply started sprinting away, looking like a deer in very bright headlights. He panted and gasped for air, dodging dragons flying at him and spears being thrown with other assorted weapons, including a small hairbrush that he had to stop and duck behind a fish cart to get unlatched from his hair. He continued running around the entire kingdom it seemed, his legs giving out from underneath him as he reached the east bay of the kingdom, his hand resting against a tree as he slumped.
His chest heaved heavily up and down as his lungs tried to keep up with his pounding heart. He threw his hands tiredly up in a victory cheer. "I'm..home free!" He said breathlessly, golden eyes staring out happily out at the bay, waiting for his ship to come and pick him up from this magical, yet, dangerous kingdom. a light red hue covering his face from all the running, sweat dripping down his forehead. He groaned as he heard a voice behind him, turning around to see a guard with his sword out, red hair poking through the armor helmet. "Put the crown down!" The armor covered man demanded.
The blonde simply jumped back, putting his hands up. "W-woah there man! Chill! I'll just be on my way ok!? No pointy swords needed!" The armored man huffed, jabbing his sword into the others chest. "Oh come on, what are you!? Some kind of- uh..palace guard?" He looked like he had really thought hard about that one, a smile of triumph plastered on his face. the armored man put his arms down slightly, confused. "Well yeah-" he rolled his eyes in his suit of armor, refocusing on the task at hand. He was about to speak again, but the smaller one bounced slightly. "If you were a palace guard, then you would have arrested me by now!" The man jabbed the sword a little harder into the blondes chest. "I- I'm getting to it alright?!" he sighed, shaking his head before looking back to him, talking in a stern Voice affectingly shutting the young Man up. "Besides the point! Kaminari Denki, wanted dead or alive with a reward over a million gold shillings, you are under arrest for the thievery of 33 million gold shillings worth of royal heirlooms."
