(Note: I'm so sorry it took me a long time to update this story. Unfortunately, the draft I created awhile back was not saved at all. It was almost finished. And it really made me lose the mood to rewrite again until now. Also, this will be the end of the story. Thank you so much for taking the time to read. I really appreciate all your likes and comments.
Also, I started watching Wynonna Earp series a month ago. And I got so hooked with WayHaught couple since then. So hooked that I also started to write a WayHaught fanfic. 😂✌️)
It was almost eight in the morning when Hermione woke up from a well rested sleep. The sun had managed to seep right through the curtains.
The arm draped around Hermione's waist brought her back to her senses. A small smile crept on her face, remembering the lovely and unforgettable night they had.
Hermione could feel the warmth from Sam's body behind her. The brunette loved being spooned. She could feel Sam's light breathing on the back of her neck, sending her goosebumps all over her body.
What a night of reconciliation they had. Hermione couldn't help but feel sorry for all the things she did. Jumping to conclusions when she saw Sam and Rose hugging that one time. How she thought Sam was as evil as her brother used to be. How she thought Sam and Roo got back together when there's a just reason for seeing each other. How she thought what they had did not mean anything to Sam when it was the complete opposite.
Hermione absentmindedly rubbed small circles on Sam's arm in front of her, reminiscing how the platinum haired girl admitted she was the one leaving the cauldron cakes on her bedside table while she was still in the Infirmary. Sam cared.
Last night was filled with uncontrollable cries, unexpected moans and tender assurances that they both certainly needed. Hermione had made it clear to Sam she didn't believe a single rumor about the latter. What the brunette felt towards the platinum haired girl was all real.
Hermione felt Sam stir behind her. They knew they should get up now and had their breakfast. But Hermione couldn't get herself, savoring the moment they still have. She didn't even want to know what would happen next after this. Would things go back to normal? Sam had only resolved their werewolf issue but what if more came.
"Mione..." Sam cooed behind her. Maybe it was the small movements Hermione made that woke up Sam.
Hermione smiled to the sweet sound, slowly turning her head to peer at Sam. "Good mornin."
"Good mornin, indeed," Sam whispered as she placed small kisses on Hermione's bare shoulders.
"You know we should get up before they start wondering where we are," Hermione softly said, oftentimes gasping upon the feeling of Sam's mouth on her skin.
"Mm-hmm," Sam mumbled in response as her mouth slowly ventured towards Hermione's neck. Upon reaching Hermione's face, the brunette leaned forward to crash her mouth against Sam's. The kiss ignited something that had been sleeping for a while.
Hermione pressed her back against Sam's body, earning a soft moan from the latter. This made Sam hugged Hermione tighter. Hermione's arm slipped through the grasp and her hand went to hold Sam's head in place as they deepened the kiss.
"Oh fuck, Sam...," Hermione breathed out as she suddenly felt Sam's fingers circling her clit. Her clutch against Sam's head tightened, pulling her close.
It was supposed to be a quiet morning. But instead, Hermione's moans filled the room as Sam's fingers dipped into her wet and aroused folds.

Tension was in the atmosphere during their breakfast as all the Hogwarts students gathered around one long table. Cormac was seated in front of Sam and Hermione, glaring like a child. Hermione's hand reached out under the table and squeezed Sam's, giving her a small smile that was enough for Sam to calm down. She's okay now. She's okay now that she has Hermione back in her arms.
Sam couldn't believe she almost lost Hermione. She had not loved anyone the way she had loved her. And that was the scary part. Losing her after all these. She couldn't bear the idea of letting her go again.
After their breakfast, Hermione kissed Sam once more as if other students who were caught staring at them did not matter.
As Hermione leaned in towards her, Sam could feel the warmth she never thought she'd have a chance to feel one more time. The brunette then whispered to her ear, "Why don't we leave a bit early and go back to our hotel room before this is all over?"
Sam grinned from ear to ear as she replied, "I would definitely love that."
As they were about to leave the table, Roo suddenly made an appearance before them. An awkward silence passed through as they all stared at each other.
"Can I have a word with you?" Roo asked, her eyes piercing through Sam's. Then her gaze fell on Hermione. "Privately?"
Sam glanced towards Hermione on her spot and the brunette nodded back. "I'll be by my room."
Sam followed Roo towards the balcony. Non-magic folks outside were scrambling through a busy Sunday, alive and oblivious of the things happening inside the building. Muggles seemed to have a happy life. Sam looked forward to the day after their graduation and maybe a nice house by the beach with Hermione and their friends.
"Sammy," Roo's voice startled Sam from her musings.
"What do you want to talk about?" Sam asked, as she stared at a homeless beggar across the street, seeking scraps from passersby.
Roo sighed beside her as she held unto the railing. "She's an amazing girl, I tell you that."
Sam smirked. She knew all too well if someone is particularly jealous. That's why the next words blurted out from Roo surprised Sam a lot.
"And I am happy for you," Roo continued.
Sam frowned and mumbled a small thanks. She didn't know if Roo was only toying with her or rather serious.
"I also have something else in mind, Sam..," Roo added.
This time, Sam turned to look at Roo. Her face looked full of concern and that was what scared Sam the most. It was the same look every time Roo was about to reveal something that would terrify her or them both. For a moment, Sam wondered if she lost her voice.
"What is it?" She managed.
Roo licked her lips nervously as she went on, "It's.... it's gonna be a bolt out of the blue-"
"What is it, Roo?"
"It's about your mother...."
Sam froze. Suddenly, everything around her darkened and she could only see the movement of Roo's mouth as she spoke.
"She's alive, Sam... Your mother's alive."
