everly and kennedy were unpacking at the apartment they would be staying at for the month. they made a deal. no boys and no talking about zach.

except everly knew she needed to talk about him. for instance, everly walked in the girls apartment room to find her crying. this was in fact, a bad break up.

"honey, are you okay?" everly asked.

"y-yea, i will be," she said, wiping her tears.

"i know you said not to talk about him, but you need to," everly said.

the girl nodded, agreeing, "i miss him." she cried.

"i know, i know, but he done exactly what he said he wouldn't do, break your heart," everly explained.

"i know, thank you for being here with me evy," she gave the best fake smile.

"now let's go to the beach," everly said, grabbing her board.

they walked across the street to the beach and surfed for hours. kennedy then sat up on the beach, writing a song.
