Chapter 1

----Harry----

Harry walked down the corridor glumly. Today hadn't been the best day for him. Ginny broke up with him and Snape took 100 house points off of gryffindor because Harry failed a potions quiz and came into class late. He stopped outside the gryffindor common room and muttered the password. He walked in only to find everyone's eyes on him. "Is it true?" Seamus asked. "Did you really lose gryffindor 100 points? Harry didn't answer and instead angrily walked to his dorm room. "Harry!" Hermione said. "I don't know what you did but it must be something terrible." Harry whipped around and said "I'm sorry but unlike you, I don't get full marks on everything!" Ron walked up to Harry. "Oi mate! She's not talking about potions. She's talking about Malfoy." all of the small chatter going around the common room fell silent. "What?" Harry asked. "Malfoy wants to meet you in the forbidden forest." Hermione said "he looked really angry" Harry thought of the blonde boy. In Harry's opinion, he was rather beautiful. "Why does he want to meet me?" he thought. "When?" he asked. Ron looked out the window at the forest. "Now" he said.

----Draco----

Draco paced back and forth. He was really mad. He had a terrible day. His father has been bugging him for weeks trying to get Draco to get the Dark Mark, joining the Dark Lord once and for all. He always told his Father, "not yet! After school!" but Lucius never listened. He wanted to make his day better by telling that Scarhead his feelings for him. "Malfoy?" a voice said interrupting his thoughts. Draco spun around to see Harry. "Pottah! Umm... hey?" Harry looked really confused. "Uh... hey. What do you want." he said. Draco realized he couldn't do it. He couldn't tell Perfect Potter his feelings. "never mind!" he shouted angrily. "It's nothing!" Draco stormed off.

----Harry----

"That was weird." Harry thought. "Did he have tears in his eyes? Oh man what did I do?" Harry couldn't figure it out. He started to walk back to the castle. Something white scurried away under his feet. "Ack!" he yelled. "Oi mate! You ok?" Ron's voice called. "Yea! Just some rat. Malfoy was acting really weird." Harry said. "Well, he's always weird." Hermione said, appearing behind Ron. "yeah." Harry said "let's go back to the common room.

----Draco (ferret animagus form)----

"Rat?" Draco thought. "Ummmm... I'm a ferret! There's a difference! Always weird? You're always weird, you filthy mudblood!" Draco decided it's best to go back to the castle. He waited until they were gone, turned back into a human, and walked back to the slytherin common room.
