CUT TO: GREEN VALLEY

EXT. PLACID STATION MEETING ROOM- LATE MORNING

DRAY STANDS AT THE HEAD OF THE TABLE WHILE THE REST OF HIS FRIENDS SIT AROUND THE TABLE.

[Dray]

So, I'm betting that you're wondering why I called you guys here.

[Elijah]

Yeah.

[Dray]

I'll tell you why. I called you here, to be honest. When I first met all of you, I had no idea all of this would go down the way that it has. I thought that this was just the world that I would be living in for a while. More like it is now, where we're so busy that we only see each other every once in a while and I go about my regular escapades. Even in a fever dream, I couldn't have foreseen the whole Cresswell situation and everything that came as a result of that.

DRAY BEGINS TO PACE BACK AND FORTH.

[Dray]

And even that I chose to resolve on my own. Look, there is a lot that I left behind and a lot that I'm currently walking into. I'm not asking you to be apart of it if you don't want to but at least now if you're here with me then I can honestly say that I think I at least have the ability to keep you alive if shit hits the fan which wasn't really the case before.

[Blake]

What did you do?

[Dray]

I went to the Shadowlands. I learned some new tricks. Like I said before, I realize that when we decided to go into Hartle, it was a new...experience. And I want to keep it going as long as you guys are up to it. Diana, Elijah, and I started a new case and I've slipped up big time. There's a girl named Tami and she's mixed up in something crazy. I need your help to find her and put a stop to this.

DRAY STOPS PACING AND FACES HIS FRIENDS.

[Dray]

So, what are you guys thinking?

[Mikey]

Well, if I'm being honest, I never thought that you were going to ask for help.

[Dray]

I didn't either.

[Mikey]

So, how are we going to find the girl? Tami, right?

[Dray]

Well, normally, I would have the shadows look all over the city until they found where she was being kept. But that would take too long and don't know what her captors are planning.

[Abigail]

I could track her if you got me some of her possessions.

[Dray]

I'll get on that as soon as I can. Another thing, there have been recent appearances of monsters around the city. I've fought a manticore, a centaur, a vampire, a ghost, and a werewolf. Oh, and there was a half-snake lady that attacked me.

[Elijah]

So a gorgon?

[Dray]

No, she didn't have snakes for hair and I looked her in the eyes.

[Peter]

So, she was a lamia? My aunt has something similar to that before.

[Dray]

I guess so. I didn't look into it. The lamia has to be behind what's going on with the monsters. And I believe that she might have something to do with the ghost and witch that kidnapped Tami. I can't be sure right now if she's the only one behind this or if there is some sort of group. But I do know that she broke Vokex out of prison. If any of you run into him, I want you to call me. Do not try and handle it yourself. He's a cold-hearted killer with a vendetta, definitely more dangerous than anything else you're going to run into.
