Chapter 25

"Ugh, i didnt realize how much time a wedding took to plan." Jay groaned. as he was looking at swatches of paint for the ground for the wedding. We didnt have anything fancy but we did have a lot of paint. Jay was going to help me and Dizzy paint the ground into something beautiful. 

"Thats what happen when your the maid of honor." I said to him as i sketched out my dress. "I know, i know, just so much to do and so little time. Did Carlos get the fabric too you?" He asked. I shook my head. "I should be getting it today. I've got the dress sketched out, Harry have we set a date?" I asked him. He was cooking us dinner as we were all working hard to get this wedding in order. 

"Yes two weeks from tomorrow, everyone on the Isle, including your dad has agreeded to come." He said. "Ugh who can officiate." I said as i grabbed out my list to do. "Oh my dad can, hes already agreeded." Jay said. I smiled and nodded as i checked that off my list. 

"Okay Dizzy is going to help me with my hair nails and the dress perfect. Uma, what are you going to wear a Tux or a dress?" I shouted at her. She was coming down the stairs with lights in her hands. "Um, whatevers easist to fine." She said, looking confused. I gave one look to jay and he got up and went and helped her with the lights. 

"Okay, we can see if Dizzy can make you a "Matching" tux with Jay, as you are the best man." I smiled. Her and Jay came down with the lights. "okay perfect to me. Gil said he's got a nice tux, might need to be spray painted black." Uma added. I nodded. "Works for me, Carlos is getting one of Jays black tuxs from Auradon for Harry." I said writing it on my list. "Tell Dizzy she'll have to bring it in a little bit." jay laughed. Harry jumped over the counter and tackled him to the floor. Uma and i just got up and went to the kitchen. 

We watched over dinner as the rolled around on the floor. "So how does it feel? Only having one brides maid?" She asked me. I took in a deep breath. "Well i have Dizzy shes going to be up there but its sad to be honest. I knew i was going to Marry harry, but i thought i would have all three of my friends by myside. I know Carlos is going to be there, and i dont even know if hes told Evie yet. But ya, i dont know, its sad." I said to her honestly. She grabbed my hand. "Well even though i'm going to be on his side, think of me as one of your other brides maids." She said. I pulled her into a big hug, holding her close. Shes really been their for me through everything to be honest. '

"Hey guys i've got some friends outside that wanna join our clean up the streets thing tonight." Gil said popping in. WE all looked at him shocked. We've been trying to get more people to join us in our nightly walks to clean up the garbage. "Awesome dinners almost done so we'll eat and then we'll go." Harry said. 

"Are you staying for dinner?" I asked Gil. He nodded. "Of course, i wouldnt miss out of his cooking.: He said jumping on the boys breaking them apart. Uma and i laughed. 

We invited the few boys that were outside to join us for a nice warm meal. We all sat around our very large table. "I think we need a bigger table." I joked as i stuffed my face with the pasta. "I think we can build another one." Harry smiled as we looked a the kids eating. I remember that was me when i first got to auradon. i ate everything in sight. "Wait until they find out we have desert." Uma whispered. All of their eyes darted towards us, as smiles grew on their face. 

"After, we clean up." I said to them. They nodded and quietly finished their meal. "This is probably the first hot meal they've had in months." Harry whispered to me. HE had stopped eating. He looked at one of the boys plates as it was empty. "Here do you want mine?" Harry offered. The boys eyes widdened as he gave us a toothy grin. Harry passed him his plate. 

"We need them to get that barrier down." Harry said shaking his head. "We will, i promise. Whatever it takes." I told him as i squeezed his hand tightly. 

"Come on, lets help with dishes." Gil said to the boys. "No no, dont worry. We'll do them, then join you guys." I said to everyone. "You sure?" Jay asked us. Harry nodded. "Ya go out. Well clean up here." He said wrapping his arm around me. 

Everyone filed out of the house and as soon as they did Harry went and locked the door. "They're gone." He said. I started giggling. "I love our kids. All of them, but my god the pass week all its been is them everywhere i look." He said running over to me and picking me up and twirling me around. 

"I know its actually quiet." I whispered as i leaned in and kissed him.
