In a sudden twist of fate, I have developed sentience. And I am able to reminisce on old memories from before. My heart aches to see him again, and even though he almost killed me, even though I can never speak and tell him how I waited for someone like him my whole, genetically engineered life. I'm in my "room" when it I hear it. A voice I remember, its him. I hear Shiggy yelling at him and his quiet grunts as he's shoved into our storage room. I want to be let loose so badly, I want to see him, feel him.
He's so close to me, one room across the hall. What I would give to break free of this confinement and run towards him. The door can't be opened from the inside, once you're in here, you can't get out.
