Chapter 01: The New Generation

“Hey kid, kid.” The bus driver said nudging him awake. A woke by instincts as he grabbed the bus driver’s arm and with blinding speed had him pinned against the side of the bus almost knocking it over. Once he saw what he had done Akiran let him go.

“Uh sorry.” Akiran apologized scratching the back of his head.

“It’s alright but that must have been one realistic dream you had.” The bus driver said knocking the dust of his jacket then lighting a cigarette.

“You have no idea.” Akiran said to himself.

“Well kid good luck and be careful some of the kids in this school can be real aggressive. If you know what I mean.” The bus driver said as Akiran unloaded his things.

On his way towards the school Akiran heard something coming his way. Looking to see what it was. He heard someone yell.

“Hey look out.” The girl yelled. Her bike bumped over a tree root but instinctively Akiran backed flipped out the way and went to catch her as she rolled out the way of her fallen bike only for him to trip over her bike and slid face first. Akiran looked up to see dark pink panties as he realized he was looking up her skirt. The girl notice pushed her skirt down. Akiran started blushing and scooted back. He started rubbing the back of his head again.

“I’m so sorry.” The girl said. Akiran looked up and saw the girl. She was unbelievably beautiful. She had long following dark black-brown hair that fell to her mid back, emerald green eyes, an angelic face that made her look innocent and what appeared to be d cup breast. She had what looked like a mixture between a holy lock and a regular locket necklace.

“It’s alright I’m fine.” Akiran said. The girl got really close to his face that the two inches that separate could easily be breached and then they would be kissing. “Uh what are you doing? You’re kinda close.” But that just made her scoot closer to him.

“You’re bleeding see.” She said her voice was pure heaven. It was sweet and majestic but it also like the type that sounded really dangerous if she was to get mad. She gently took his hand and placed onto his cheek. There was a trickle of blood running down the cheek she had placed his hand on as she showed him.

“Uh.” Akiran said. He looked surprised but his wound had already healed. She looked at his blood covered hand mesmerized by its smell and the warmth it had.

“Is something wrong?” Akiran asked a little worried. He wiped the blood of his hands. She started getting closer to his face. At first he thought she was going to kiss him but instead she licked the blood off his face freaking Akiran out a little.

“Hey what was that for.” Akiran said.

“I’m sorry it’s just that your blood smells and.” She paused for a sec and let out girl giggle while giving a devilish grin. Out of the corners of her mouth Akiran saw what appeared to be fangs. “Because I’m a vampire.” She then got up and bit his neck drinking a little bit of his blood.

“Mm it tastes so good.” She said.

“Uh thanks I guess.” Akiran was little worried about a vampire drinking his blood even if he was part human. She looked at the time and was shocked he had 20 minutes to get situated and get to class as he still had to find it. “I’m sorry I gotta go.” He helped her, picked up his things and turned around. “But it was nice meeting you.”

“Wait” She yelled. “I never got your name.”

“It’s Akiran, Akiran Aviono.” He said before he disappeared. He found his room number 666. He spent 10 minutes putting away and checking the room. It was one bedroom dorm. The kitchen was separated from the living room by a little counter but you could still see through it. It suited him perfectly the walls were painted a dark blue color, with a little black thrown in it. It reminded him of his room back home. There was a black 42” TV on Maplewood TV stand with two cases for DVDs and CDs, and a rectangle cut out underneath for a DVD player. Akiran checked the clock and saw he had 10 minutes to get to class. At Yokai Academy there was a dress code. You had to wear a green jacket over a button down shirt with a tie, a pair of khaki pants and dress shoes but being him Akiran kept on what he had on an all-black shirt, jeans and his black and white shoes. Akiran also had gazed tape wrapped around his forearm leaving only fingers showing. He grabbed his book bag and bolted out the door.
