Chapter 1

Yuki POV

I was walking to Royal Sakuraka High School, Principle Nezu who sent me out on this mission said that even though I'm a student at UA, I still need to be put in a school environment, they'll send the work that I'm missing out on and will be doing weekly checks on how I'm doing. This was a new program UA had set up, this was their first year and 1-A were the guinea pigs. We had one place assigned to us, I was in Castle Town Dandelion, apparently, it's a small kingdom, and they had a King when ruled over it, rumour has it he's a kind man, cares for his kingdom, that's all that someone needs right? A place to stay and a kind person to look after them. UA was the only school so far for aspiring heroes, quirks are a new phenomenon, only two generations have it, us being the second and a select group having it, so far, out of everyone in Japan, only the pro heroes and villains now as well as the students of UA have quirks, it's extremely rare to see anyone with quirks. I slipped my uniform on and headed to school, "Weird, what's with all these cameras?" I look around, every bend I take there are at least ten security cameras. I kept walking and I see an all-black limo parked outside this house, I whistle and run my finger along the roof of the car, "Now that's a car," I look at the crown at the front of it, "Have a good day dad," I look up, "Um... who are you?" I jump back, "Ahhh! I'm so sorry, the car's beautiful so I just had a look, no harm done I promise!" I bow a full ninety degrees, he chuckles, "That's fine," I cock my head, "Fine? Sir this is a very expensive car, I'd be fuming if I saw a dumb kid touching my car if it looked like this?" I gesture to it, I hear a chuckle behind him, his family was huge, "I haven't seen you around? Our kingdom is quite small and we hold annual events, when did you come here? Who are your parents?" He asks me, "Well... I live alone, the thing is I'm here... kind of on an exchange program, if you can call it that, I promise I'll come to use later, count me on it," I grin, he gets in the car, "Well I'll see when you do," And they drive off, I wave, "Are you going to Royal Sakuraka High School too? Seeing by your uniform?" A girl with red hair asks me, I nod, "Yeah, you too judging by your uniform, same year?" I look at the red tie, she nods, I sneeze and she runs away cowering, "I-I'm sorry," I try to reason with her, she just cried behind who I assume is her big brother, "No, it's fine, she's always like this, her name is Akane, I'm Shu..." He continues with the rest of the family's name, "Well good morning to you all, I better be on my way, I'd hate to be a bother any longer, see you guys around!" I was ready to turn around, "Hey wait, we're going the same way, why don't we walk together?" Aoi asks I shake my head, "No, no! I couldn't! I'd just be a pain to drag along!" I try to weasel out, I planned on putting marks and pick the best patrol route I could take with all these cameras around, I'm sure there aren't even that meant thugs or low-level delinquents here, "Oh come on, don't be like that, I'm sure we'd love to walk with you isn't that right Akane, Shu, Kanade?" They nod, I sigh, "Well, I guess the pleasures all mine," I snicker. 

"Look who it is, good morning everyone," A woman says to us with her child, "Have a wonderful day ma'am," Aoi smiles, "It's a good day isn't it?" An old man says, "Why yes it is indeed," Kanade smiles, Akane just hides behind me, "And to think a few minutes ago you were scared of me because I sneezed," We all chuckles, "You guys really are a big deal around here aren't you?" I ask them, Aoi nods, "We're actually-" Someone interrupts her, "Is that Yuki Nariko from U-" I run-up to her and clamp my hand over the junior high's mouth, "I'm sorry, but could you please not mention that, I'm kind of on a super-secret mission," I hold a finger to my lips, her eyes seemed to sparkle and she nods up and down quickly, "Can you please sign my shirt?" She asks holding a glittery pen up to me, I sweatdrop, "Um... sure, I don't think it will write on your shirt very well, do you have a piece of paper or a book, something like that?" I ask her, she shakes her head and looks like she's about to cry, I panic and scamper around my bag trying to find a sheet or someone to write on, I feel someone tap my shoulder, I look up and see Shu pass me a sheet he ripped out of his book, he smiles, "Thanks," I grin and sigh the sheet, "How do you know about me? It barely gets broadcasted, the Olympics is still the favoured sporting event?" I ask her handing the sheet, "Well grandpa's a hero so he always watches it!" I look around, "Well, well, if it isn't my old sensei, heya old geezer, haven't seen you since... well you know," I see Grand Torino, he jets forwards and kicks me in the face, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!" I scream at him, "Oh sorry, who are you again?" I facepalm, "Just go buy yourself a taiyaki, don't kick your granddaughter otherwise I'll kick you," I stand back up, "Bye Blizzard!" She waves, I flinch, "B-Bye... ha, ha, ha," I wave, I was sweating a lot, "What was that all about?" Shu asks me, "Well, er, thing is... yeah! Grand Torino's a family friend, connections..." I think of an excuse, "You two seemed to have a close relationship," Akane says, I sweat even more, "Oh, he trained me in some hand-to-hand combat is all..." I wave my hands in front, "And why did she say Blizzard?" Kanade asks, "Well, er, thing is... she likes snow so much, my name's Yuki so it kinda a pun on my name..." I was frantic now, I couldn't tell them it was my hero name, "Say, your hair, it's bright red and blue, did you guys dye it?" I ask Akane and Aoi, they shake their head, "I could say the same, your hair is electric blue, is it dyed?" Akane asks, I shake my head, her jaw drops, "How does a normal person like you for example have hair that colour!" She shakes my shoulders, I get dizzy, "Ok, stop that Akane, can't you see your making her see stars," I see Shu push Akane back a bit, "No harm done," We continue walking, he stares at me face, "What? Something on my face?" I ask him, "Your cheeks, where he kicked you, it's starting to bruise, you should go to the nurse when you get to school," He turns my chin, I blush, "Oh no, it's fine, a little ice should just do the trick," I was about to create a block of ice but I realised, "STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!" I smash my head into a wall, "Yuki! What are you doing! You'll hurt yourself!" Aoi runs over to me, I put my left hand on my cheeks, it was already cooling it down, "Sorry, I just remember ed I have to do something, I got to go! See you guys at school!" I wave them off and run to school, I turn the corner that was wayyyy too close, I need to keep my quirk in check. I spark electricity in my right hand and cold frost on my left, I sigh and dust the snow off my hand and I slam my foot onto the ground creating an ice path which I skated on.
