Finding Love

Chapter 1

One day, there was a family of five. We are the Greenfield Family. In our family, it is consisted of two parents, one set of identical twins; Sophia and Sylvia,that are ten years old, and they are in fifth grade. I am their older sister, and I am seventeen years old, and I am a junior in high school. The twins are currently attending school at an elementary school, and this year, will be there last year at the elementary school, and then they will be going to the same high school as me, because the school that I go to has a middle and high school.
Then, a few days later, I was getting so excited, because we finally got some new neighbors, that had children, because right now, we have neighbors that are kind of old, and have no children. I could see that there were twin boys about my age, as they were exiting the van, as well as their parents, and their four younger siblings. My mom suggested that the next day the whole family will go over to meet the new family. The next day, my mom walked into the kitchen, and started talking to me.

"Hey honey, would you like to make some type of dessert, to bring to the new family,in about an hour and a half", mom said, as she was washing dishes.

"Sure, Mom, I would love to," I replied and sat down at the kitchen table.

"Okay, great, which type of dessert would you like to make?" mom said, as she was drying the dishes.

I thought for a moment, and then said "hmm, how about gingerbread men, since it is almost Christmas," I replied as I was looking at a recipe book.

"Great idea honey," mom said, as she was getting the ingredients,gingerbread men cookie cutters, and frosting and icing and some christmasy sprinkles.

"Thank you mom," I replied as I was mixing the ingredients together.

"You're welcome," mom said, as she was leaving the kitchen.
