Chapter 4- You can take me to-go if you want.

Alyssa's POV

Let's just say that after I told my dad that I got in trouble for starting a food fight he was rather surprised.

"You started a food fight!?" He asked genuinely shocked.

"Yes dad I didn't mean to. It was a total accide- ," I started but was cut off.

"That's great! Did you have fun?" He asked excitedly.

"Um...yeah...I think?" I said but it came out as a question.

"I'm so proud of you." He said pulling me into a hug.

Huh? Shouldn't he be grounding me or something like that?

" Don't let it happen too often though." He continued in a reprimanding tone.

I sighed.

"Yes Dad." I replied then went to my room.

***********
"Really?!" She asked.

"Yeah. He got all excited like I just told him unicorns were real and that we could go buy one from the supermarket." I answered Christina.

We were talking over the phone. Well it was mostly me telling her how my dad reacted to my punishment.

She laughed.

"Seriously? I'd kill to have a dad like that. Heck I'd start food fights everyday if my dad was like that." She said.

"Of course you would. You're always looking for some trouble." I told her.

"What can I say? Trouble and I attract each other. Besides, if you had a daughter who rarely got in trouble and always gets good grades wouldn't you be ecstatic when you heard that she did something fun?" She asked.

"When you put it that way.... " I trailed off.

"See now you understand." She said.

"Yeah, whatever." I said totally ignoring the fact that she said I did not have fun.

I have fun all the time.

"Soo... Do you want to go out for some fro-yo?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Sure. I'll meet you there in in 5." I told her then hung up.

I stalked over to my closet and took out a pair of navy blue jeans and an orange v-neck. I combed through my hair, grabbed a purse stuffing my phone and other essentials in it then threw on a pair of white sandals.

Going down the stairs I told my father I was going to get some frozen yogurt with Chrissie and he just told me to be safe.

I hopped in my car then started making my way to the fro-yo store which wasn't far away.

My town isn't that big so you know where everything is. It's not small either it's just- well you get the point.

I pulled up into the parking lot and went inside. Chrissie was already there so we just got the yogurt then made our way to the counter.

When we finally got to cashier I internally groaned.

Wow. Just when I was having a good day.

"Welcome to Frozen berry!" He said enthusiastically.

"You work here?" I asked incredulously.

"Well which teenager doesn't have a job?" He asked while taking care of our purchases.

I only nodded in return.

"Eat-in or to-go?" He asked.

"Eat-in." Christina replied.

"You know, you can take me to-go if you want. It comes free with your purchase." He said to us, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

I just blushed and walked away while Chrissie took our yogurts to a random table.

I think I overheard the 2 old ladies that were behind us take him up on his offer.

Lucky hags.
