Chapter one- Dinner

Life for me was a mess; on top of my grades slipping and the fact I had just recently started dating my boyfriend Bakugou Katsuki there was a worldwide pandemic going on. It'd been a week since we heard the news about Corona-virus and I missed my family and the Bakusquad. I haven't left my dorm for anything other than groceries, it's hell having to cook because I'm horrible at it but I'm trying my best to make decently healthy meals. Another thing about quarantine is that it's weird being a wall apart from your boyfriend but not being able to touch or see him. I honestly want to hug him but I can't do that. I love Bakugou Katsuki, but not seeing his face is driving me insane. I have just finished the distance learning work I had to do for today, so I decided to text Bakugou for a short while.

I ran into the small-sized kitchen I had and peered open the cabinet only to see that I had mostly all junk-food, I swiftly grabbed a packet of ramen and called Katsuki

I ran into the small-sized kitchen I had and peered open the cabinet only to see that I had mostly all junk-food, I swiftly grabbed a packet of ramen and called Katsuki.

"Hey Red." He said as he looked down at the camera with a small grin hitting the sides of his peachy colored cheeks. He had his phone set down on his kitchen counter and had a bunch of ingredients scattered onto the glass table behind him. He was wearing a long-sleeved green hoodie with black sweatpants, his spiky ash blonde hair was pulled back into an extremely short ponytail in the back.

"H-Hey! You look nice. What do you plan on making tonight?" I asked as an extremely dark blush hit my face.

"Thanks, you look cute as well. To answer your question, I looked in the fridge and I had some leftover chicken from what I ate last night and I had the stuff to make a decently good salad. So that's what I'm going to do.." He'd reply as he was having trouble opening a Tupperware which I would assume was filled with chicken.

"You want to be a pro-hero, yet you can't open a Tupperware..!" I'd tease as I watched his cheeks and ears turn bright red.

"I- I can open this Tupperware just fine you asshole!!" He'd continue to try to open it and when he almost got it open the Tupperware would go flying as the roasted chicken would fall onto the ground. I couldn't help but to begin cracking up at the timing this had.

"Hey! At least the chicken landed safely on the tile!! Dirty chicken is better than no chicken!" I yell decently loud.

"I heard you say that through the wall! These walls are thinner than Deku's bones. About the chicken I supposed you're right about that." He'd laugh along with me as he grabbed the chicken and put it into the buttered frying pan.

"Hey Kiri, What are you making?" He'd ask with a mischievous grin.

"Um.. Instant ramen..!" I'd answer hesitantly

"Hah! You made fun of my chicken! At least I'm eating healthy dork!" He'd tease happily.

"But you can actually cook, you dick!" I'd jokingly insult him

___________time skip to when they finished cooking because it's 4:30 am in the morning_

I peered over at the clock on the microwave I had, the green numbers had said 9:15 PM on them and a few minutes after I had finished making my ramen his salad was done.

"Time to eat?" I asked curiously as we both sat down at our identical class tables with our phone camera facing each other.

"Yep..!" He'd answer with a successful smile.

We'd each begin eating our  foods with little talking, it felt awkward so I decided to attempt to start some conversation.

"Are you doing okay..? I'm worried about how this quarantine is going to affect your mental health and nightmares.." I questioned honestly confessing my fear to him.

"Well, because of what happened a few months ago I asked permission if it gets bad again I could stay with another classmate... Which would probably be you.."

"I just couldn't stand to have to see that happen to you... I felt so useless... I couldn't help you get out of your anxiety, I was your best friend and I knew you the best.." I muttered almost too quiet for the phone to hear.

"Baby... It wasn't your fault... You didn't know what was going on.." He'd respond. His voice had softened and he sounded genuinely upset.

"I'm worried it'll happen again..." I admitted.

"It won't and if I think it might I'll let you know... I promise.."

"I love you trash man." I'd said chuckling about the last part.

"I love you too Shithair." He'd say back with a light laughter.

We'd finish eating and exchange our 'I love you's' and went to bed. I'm happy this happened. Even though we weren't together physically I loved talking to him. I love Katsuki with all of my heart...
