Chapter 48

The sound of birds chirping goes inside of Ryan's ears. He rubbed his eyes and opened his eyes. He stared at the ceiling.

He sat on the bed and glanced at Katy who was still asleep. Ryan chuckled , and laid beside her and held her tightly. He then moved away all the hairs from her face and kissed her on the cheek.

Katy didn't woke up still. "Baby ? Wake up". He said gently.

Katy hummed and went back to sleeping. Ryan again whispered the same in her ear. She woke up and turned to Ryan.

"What?". She asked , Still sleepy.

"Wake up , It's 10 am". Ryan replied.

Katy sighed and wrapped her arms around Ryan and went to sleep again. Ryan laughed watching her extreme cuteness. "You're so cute , how can someone not fall in love with you".

Katy smiled. Then she stood up and tied her hairs in a messy bun. Ryan watched her as she went to the bathroom and came back becoming her beautiful self.

Ryan couldn't resist so he stood up and hugged Katy. "I love you".

Katy hugged him back. "Now do I have to reply?". She joked.

Ryan laughed and kissed her forehead. "Even if you don't, I still know your answer". He smiled.

Katy smiled back. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Ryan opened the door and saw Aurora standing with a tray.

"I thought that you two might enjoy the breakfast alone in your bedroom". She said.

Ryan quickly hugged his mother and so did Katy. Then Katy took the tray from her hands and they both started eating.

Few hours later ....

"So why don't you apply for this job ?". asked Aurora.

"No no , not right now... He is not up for this". Said Katy.

"Buy Katy don't you think that will help him relax his mind". Asked Aurora.

"He's too weak right now. I don't want to take any risk". Katy replied. Ryan smiled and realized that there's someone who loves him this much.

"Hmm, what do you say Ryan?". Asked Aurora.

"I'll stick with Katy's decision". Said Ryan. Katy smiled and held his hand under the table.

After some time , when they were done talking , Ryan took Katy to their room. "Katy , I'll take this job..." , Katy tried to interrupt but failed.

"But Ryan ...",

"Please Katy , Don't worry I'll be alright". He said.

"But Ryan I don't want you to overwork yourself". Said Katy. "Please Ryan try to understand , even though this life is yours but you're the world of mine".

Ryan's eyes filled with tears , he pulled her in a hug.

"I'll be fine Katy". Said Ryan.

"Promise?". Asked Katy as she pulled herself.

"I promise". Ryan replied and pecked her lips. "Let's go and have a drink".

"Okay". Katy nod.

"We'll take two strawberry shakes". Ryan gave the order and they waited in the car.

There was silence in the car. But then Ryan broke the silence.

"Vida?".

Katy looked at him.

"Whenever I look at you , you always take my breath away". Said Ryan.
