Chapter 5
It's Saturday, Reesh is almost here and I have nothing to wear.
Sad me.
Just then I heard the door bell ring, it must be Reesh. What do I do. I ran hastily down the stairs opening the door and smiling widely at Reesh.
" hey Reesh " I greeted gently taking the words one after the other. She smiled back at me but it suddenly changed into a confused look. Her eyes travelled down but she quickly looked back up when she noticed what I was wearing.
" Saph, why aren't you dressed yet? " she asked in a calm voice.
" nothing to wear " I said giving her a guilty smile. She just sighed and began walking off in the direction of my stairs but stopped when she reached the beginning of the stairs she turned to me and looked at me with that ' do I need to tell you to come' face.
" oh, sorry " I said shutting the door and following her up the stairs.
I entered my room and shut the door behind me turning to see Reesh already scattering my closet in search of something for me to wear.
" hey, " I exclaimed " that took time to arrange ".
" sorry "
" sorry? You're so cleaning that up "
" whatever " Reesh said shrugging her shoulders lightly.
" put this on " she said trowing a white cropped sweatshirt and high waisted black ripped jeans.I put it on and showed it to Reesh.
" looking good " Reesh said nodding her head.
" sit " she said gesturing towards a chair at my desk. I sat down and she started playing with my hair, more like tying my hair up then laying my edges. Then she brought out some lip gloss and that is a major no no
" Un un, no, I am not putting that on my lips, no " I said shaking my head at her.
" why? " she asked looking confused.
" because it feels weird on my lips " I told her in a 'duh' voice.
She just shrugged her shoulders." whatever "she said walking towards the door and turning again.
" aren't you coming "she asked.
" oh yeah " I said grabbing my black purse and phone, did I mention I got a new one, it's an I phone and it's pretty and black and-
" Sapphire! " she shouted.
" sorry "I said removing my eyes from my phone and grabbing my glass as I ran out of the room to her car.

We were on our way to her cousins house and I was playing candy crush on my phone.
I love this game.
It's weird but since I was a kid I had this thing for candy crush. The name of the game reminds me of my crush Andrew, he's so...
*sigh*
I can't believe I still have a crush on him even if I haven't seen him in like.... (calculations).... five years, I wander how he looks now, if he's still as charming as I left him.... But too bad for me he didn't even notice me, but there was this one time he asked me to pass him the book I was holding so he could see it.
It was the best day of my life.
*sigh*
I'm crazy.
"we're here " Reesh said in a sing song voice. I dropped my phone and looked out the window, the house was fairly big with beautiful flowers that surrounded the house. To conclude it it looks homey.
I stepped out of the car and followed Reesh to the front door.
To be honest the house looked better from inside. I followed Reesh to what looked like the kitchen and was greeted by a group of people sitting by the table in the kitchen.
" Granny! " Reesh said running to meet the old lady while a younger looking woman offered me some grape juice which I accepted, now I think about it I feel I've seen the woman somewhere else.
I and Reesh settled down in the living room, I reached into my pocket for my phone but it was not there so I tried searching my purse - keyword 'tried' - but it wasn't there, to be honest I think I left both of them in Reesh's car.
" Reesh I'm gonna collect my purse from your car I think I left it there "
" k " was her simple reply. I stood from were I sat still holding the cup of grape juice in my hand and strolled over to were her car was parked. I opened the car door and my black purse was the first thing I saw, I opened it and saw my phone inside.
" ha ha, you think your smart " I said to myself looking at the phone in my hand. I shut the door and began walking towards the house entrance but stopped when I realised that I had left my purse.
I quickly turned on my heels but stopped when cold liquid hit my stomach.
I looked at my shirt and saw the purple stain on the white material then I looked at the person who I had bumped into.
" my shirt " I said to myself. " my white shirt " I said again to myself but a little louder." you ruined my white shirt, weren't you watching were you were going " I asked taking a step back from him because of how close we were.
" you know it was your fault right " he said raising his brows.
" my fault? It was my fault that you didn't see where you were going, huh? You don't Just walk at the back of someone, cause if you didn't walk at my back you shouldn't have- "I stopped for a moment taking in his facial features, his big brown eyes and black short air, he's African.... I've seen him before.
" I know you " I said looking at him so I could remember where I saw him.
" I doubt that cause-" I interrupted him when curiosity began to spark in me, it is very annoying when you know someone but you don't know the person.
Do you get me.
" are you... Andrew Okeke " I asked.
" how do you know me "
Who would have guessed my childhood crush is my best friend's cousin.
