October 2013

You are a professional singer who lives in one of the most adored metropolia on earth. New York City. The city just inspires and resonates with you on such a deep level, so it wasn't a difficult decision to move there. However, your lifestyle convicted with the one of your boyfriend and actor - Chris Evans. Unlike you, he lived in Los Angeles or at his parents' house back in his hometown Boston. Therefore, the distance was hard on both of you. Of course, you were visiting each other when you could, but only for a couple of days because something would always come up for you workwise. So, therefore, the 2-year relationship was suffering a little bit. You both are aware of it, but you are also willing to fight for the existence of the relationship.

Today is October 15th, 8:48 pm. He finished the new Avengers movie two days ago, and he's supposed to visit you soon. At least that's what he said in his previous texts. It's a rainy day and it perfectly matched with your mood today. You haven't seen Chris in person for almost 3 months. To be exact for 9 weeks and 4 days, and counting if he won't show up today. You are walking past the shops on Hudson Street back home from the studio. Walking through New York in the rain is extremely therapeutical, believe me, or not. My mind is at ease then and I feel like I can breathe. You stop at a crosswalk and decide to call Chris. He hasn't returned any of your calls from the past 3 days. Mailbox. Again. He's probably not gonna show up tonight either. So you decided to take the long walk home and pick up something from your favorite Italian place.

After a 52 minute walk,  you finally reached the front door of your penthouse. You quickly shook off the water on your umbrella and entered the penthouse. Suddenly, a very familiar odor approached your nose. Yours lightened up when you heard noises from the kitchen.

"CHRIIIS?!", you started to run toward the kitchen without even realizing it.

There he is leaning against the kitchen counter and smiling from ear to ear, opening his arms to welcome your hug. You jump at him and put your legs around his waist, as he picks you up and spins you around. His odor was now more intense than before and your brain was on a rollercoaster of various perceptions. He puts you down before he pulls you close to him, so he can kiss you. Slowly, like he always does. A smile forms on your lips. On his too. You could feel that, no need for opening your eyes for that. The taste of spearmint enters your mouth as his tongue makes its way into your mouth too. His hands covered more than half of your back now. One of his hands slips under your shirt and strokes the bare skin with his thumb in a slow rhythm. You do the same, but only your hand moves up to his jaw.

You break the kiss eventually,  but your faces are still close.

"I missed you so much.", his low voice gave you shivers, so you kissed the tip of his nose in response.

"Me too.", you whispered as your eyes were locked with his sparkling blue ones. One thing you were always fascinated by were his long lashes. Not only fascinated, but also a little jealous because of your own weren't as long as his.

"Goddamn it, Evans. Stop with your blue eyes and lashes. Annoying...", you made your way back to the entrance where you left the food you picked up from the Italian place earlier. The only thing you heard was his adorable giggling. As you placed the food on the white marble kitchen counter he immediately grabbed it and took a look at what you got.

"Uhh. It's from the Italian place we like, right?", you nodded as you walked past him stroking his shoulders with your right hand.

"Don't start eating I'm grabbing us plates first."

"Why would you think I'd already start eating?", you look at him over your shoulder and raise a brow skeptically. He puts his hands up, demonstrating that he won't touch the food. Eyes rolling back.

"What did you tell me about rolling my eyes?", you asked teasing. A smile curled his lips.

"That you shouldn't do it, because else I'll spank you."

"Exactlyyy.", you split the food among both plates. Thank god, it was enough for you both.

"I'm counting 8.", he raised his eyebrow examining my face.

"I'm counting zero.", he started laughing as he pours red wine into your glasses.

"Nahhh, I don't think so honey."

"But I do...", you looked him with your puppy eyes and pulled him closer.

"Wow, you're trying to seduce me, so you can get down to zero. No chance.",  he grabs the plates and goes to the dining table, placing next to each other. You followed him with the glasses of wine.

After you had dinner, you moved outside on the terrace. It was already around midnight, and the stars where shining. Chris and you always loved some stargazing. Especially, since you experienced your first kiss that way. Now you were lying on a large round seat. You were seated in-between his legs, leaning back onto his chest, facing the night sky.  His arms were wrapped around your waist, so you took his hands and pulled them closer to your chest, covering them with your own. All of a sudden you felt a drop on the top of your head. Looking up you registered that Chris was crying.

"Is everything alright?", you sat up to face him now still holding his hands. His glossy eyes gazing into yours now.

"I love you, (y/n).", another tear fell down.

"I know- I love you too. What's going on?"

"Let's move in together.", a smile lit up his face. You couldn't help but smile too. His smile is just so damn gorgeous.

"Okey. Where do you want to go? London? Paris? Sevilla?".

"I thought you don't want to move out of New York? You told me you needed New York".

"All I need is you. Only you."
