Love is suffocating or a bath in heaven's water, no in between. You fall in love, ignore red flags, and slowly get your heart shattered with a bat. Whoever said love is amazing is a good fucking liar. Tears blurring our visions hoping things went differently. Love fucking sucks, you fall in love with someone, seeing a future with them, then you realize you are two different people and the world is gonna end anyways so might as well be honest and break our hearts. The worst pain of it all is watching them move on and improve while you sink deeper in a pool of your own thoughts.
Heaven's bath water is like dancing in a field of daisies, watching the sunset, cold water on a hot day, cuddling in a big fluffy blanket, getting a new puppy.
Only if life was that easy. What's worse then a break up? Watching the love of your life slowly lose interest as you fall deeper in love with them. The feeling of uncertainty is painful, do they still care or am I just here so they don't feel lonely? Why can't love be simple?, why so many arguments?, why are we drowning?
Remember the beginning of your relationships?, everything was fresh and new, you got butterflies and felt nervous about feeling their lips against yours?, when that first argument meant nothing?
When you've argued so many times but you refuse to let go because it would hurt too much. When you still feel there is hope yet they still let you down. They don't listen to you when you try to give advice on how to keep you and make you feel worse.
When they are a teenage boy with hormones and you don't want to deal with sexual tension or activity and you just want simple things like park dates, cuddles, kisses, painting together, and watching clouds float by free and empty but in the best way possible. No emotions, until they get gloomy and grey only to provide happiness for the world <3
