"Dea.." She just passed by Daisy who was all smiles, ready to compliment Deanna's hair. She walked directly towards her room and locked the door behind her.
Her head was spinning. She's feeling light headed.
'I can tell her your 'leukemia' story, if you didn't do it.'
'Also, if you didn't do it. You're fired.'These phrases keeps on playing in her head.
"Goddamit!" She pounded on her desk and stood up. She walked back and forth, until she heard a knock.
"Deanna? Everything alright? I heard a loud noise." Daisy said from the door.
"I-I'm okay, Daisy, I just need sometime alone, okay?"
"Okay. If you need anything, I'm here."
"Tha-Thank you!" She shouted.
She sat back on her chair and think.
'Think Deanna. Think!'
A lot of choices and options, ran through her mind.
One, she can tell Jema about her condition. But, it will never stop Faith from asking her again. Besides, she isn't ready to tell for now.
Two, she can tell me that Faith is asking her to get our proposal. That will be dangerous, cause she knew that Faith's competitiveness and my business mind will not back down against each other. And she was right.
Three, and the thing that she considers the most, get the plan and don't get caught.
Deanna drove back home early with a plan. Go inside my study and take a picture of our proposal and blueprint.
She's mumbling prayers, so as to have courage on what she will ever do. This will be the first time that she will do this. Even as a child, she didn't sneaked up to get something, even a candy or a peso. Never.
She found the house empty. Ate Susan was on the back the moment she arrived. She carefully put her bag on the side and removed her shoes.
She went up to my study, looked left and right before inhaling courage and opening the door. The room was empty and dark. She stepped inside carefully, turned up the light and closed the door behind her.
"Okay, where do you keep it Bea?" She whispered to herself and started to scan the files that was on my table. She tried to open my computer but obviously it was password protected.
"Of course." She sat down my chair and tried possible passwords.
"Ate Jia's name?" She typed in. Incorrect.
"Ate Jia's birthday?" Still incorrect.
"Birthday."
"Name."
"Tita Det's birthday."
"Tito Elmer's birthday."
All wrong. So, she stood up and gave up on my computer. She basically looked everywhere but there is nothing.
She stood up on the middle of the room and looked left and right. Thinking, scanning.
"If I were her, and it was a very important proposal." She knitted her head trying to figure it out. She looked back at my table and saw an USB just lying here. "Of course, I won't be putting a hard copy anywhere here."
She picked up the flash drive and read the label.
"GANB. Bingo." She get some empty papers to cover the flash drive upon getting out.
