It didn't take long before the dots were connected.

From quirkless, to having a very powerful quirk.

From friendless to having lots of friends.

From being quiet and withdrawn to being louder and outgoing.

All of that happened in the span of a year; the year he was enrolling in UA.

But, just like always, the villain makes a mistake, and that mistake is always what got them caught.

What was that mistake for Izuku Midoriya?

Leaving his most recent notebook open on his desk.

So, when Aizawa saw that notebook, he planned on leaving it right there. Surely, the boy must notice it's gone and come and get it? And even if he didn't, he would see it during homeroom on Monday.

But then he saw the familiar colors of one of his colleague.

Aizawa knew he shouldn't look. He would be invading his student's privacy.

But he was curious. The boy was constantly scribbling things down in there, he couldn't help but want to look inside what was in the book.

And so he looked in the notebook.

It was filled with normal information anyone could find if they looked online: their name and hero name, their quirk and how it worked. Then it began to be slightly concerning when he didn't just see the basics of the quirk, but exactly how it worked.

and any possible backlash most didn't even consider.

And it didn't stop there, there was written down how someone would be able to injure them so they won't be able to use their quirk, ever again.

Weaknesses, written down in more details than their quirks were.

He looked at another page, dedicated to another teacher, and found just the same.

He skimmed through every page that was filled in the notebook. All of UA's teachers were in it. Teachers Midoriya didn't have any classes with had less detailed notes in them, but all had very in-detail notes about their weaknesses.

Aizawa decided Nedzu needed to see this.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Izuku had been in here for at least an hour.
Nedzu had requested to see all his analysis notebooks. He didn't get any reason for it, but who was he to say no to his principal? So he picked them all up from his dorm and gave them to Nedzu. He didn't know the reason behind it, but who was he to say no to the principal? So, he didn't utter a word as he watched him skim through the notebooks together with Aizawa.
Despite not asking any questions, Izuku could feel his anxiety growing.
But, he couldn't be in trouble, right?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When Nedzu saw Aizawa barge into his office holding a simple notebook, not knocking like the man usually would, he became slightly concerned.

What could be so important that even knocking felt like a waste of time?

Nedzu got his answer when he read the contents of the notebook. A notebook about all UA teachers, including himself.

Now, Nedzu wasn't one to find many things creepy, or unsettling, but seeing not only very detailed information about his employees, but seeing that a section of that notebook was dedicated to theories, most of which were true, about both weak and strong spots in UA's security system; ways villains could get in, and things they should avoid.
