(Y/N), the Ice Hashira, meets Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira. Can she put up with his smart ass? Will they be able to fight beside each other with no problems? Will anybody be catching feelings?

Okay turns out befriending the Mist Pillar is harder than I thought. I mean, I can’t even find the dude! It’s been like a week or so since he has introduced himself, well, Ubuyashiki introducing him to us. Maybe he’s on a mission?
Well, since I’m already in the mansion, I might as well just ask Ubuyashiki about him. I can’t help myself, I’m just curious about him since he’s younger than me. Now I know how the other Hashiras felt when I came in.
I walked into the main room, hoping to find Ubuyashiki, and to my luck, he’s sitting down memorizing things. I sat on the mat across from him, and waited until he was done.
He hummed, smiling. “My child, you got back from a mission a few days ago, do you really want to be on another one so soon?” he asked, putting his hands on his lap.
I quickly shook my head. “No, well yeah, well no, well yes, well I don’t know-!”
Chuckling, he clapped his hands for someone to bring us both tea. “Well, what is it that you want?”
“I wanted to know about the Mist Pillar, Muichiro! He seems really cool, but I haven’t had a chance to talk to him yet, and I really think we’d be great friends, considering our ages, so if you really want to deal with my stupidity for a few moments, will you please tell me about him?!” I sped all my words, having the man confused half the time I was talking. He seemed to know what I was getting at, though.
“Well first off,” he started, sipping his tea that the servant just brought us. “You’re not stupid, my child, just excited,” putting his tea down.
“Second, what if I put you two on a mission together, I’m sure you’ll have some time to chat, and you’ll have things to do,” he suggested, earning several nods from me.
“THANK YOU MASTER, YOU ARE LITERALLY A GOD!” I bowed up and down. Shaking his head, telling me that it’s false, and that he hasn’t even done anything, he then shoo’ed me away, since I was too loud. He didn’t want me to disturb Amane’s beauty sleep, which I understood, and ran out quickly.
“We’ll be seein’ each other soon, Muichiro Tokito,” I fist pumped, walking out the mansion.

It’s been a few days after the discussion about having us both on a mission, and now I’m being summoned to the Ubuyashiki mansion.
Oh shit, what should I say?? Should I say something cool, nice, or funny?! Maybe a simple ‘Hi!’ would do, but that’s boring!
Reaching the outside of the mansion, Ubuyashiki stood a bit away from the sunlight, with the help of Amane. Muichiro wasn’t here yet, so I should ask Ubuyashiki for advice!
“What should I say to him?!” I asked, hoping he’ll have an answer.
He put a finger to his chin, tapping it a bit. “A hello would do, perhaps,” smiling, he turned to Amane, hoping she’ll have something better to say. She did almost the same action, but instead of an answer, she just shrugged, giving me an apologetic look.
Speaking of the devil, the Mist boy has finally arrived, standing a few feet away from me, waiting for an explanation on why he was called here.
“Ah, now that you’re both here, I should hurry and explain. There has been a rumor that a humungous demon has been eating children in the Kigshi village. Any questions, my children?”
“Why can’t I go alone?”
Huh?!
“It would be safer if I brought out two Hashiras for this mission,” Ubuyashiki explained.
Trying to solve the awkwardness, I opened my mouth, pointing to the younger boy.
“Oi! So you’re the younger pillar! I’m kinda jealous you got in younger than me, but let’s work together for this one-“ Cutting of my words, he tilted his head and scoffed quietly.
“Are you stupid? Does your brain work?” he rudely asked. In front of Ubuyashiki too, no less! WHAT THE FUCK!!!
This had me shoot up a bit in surprise, he’s not shy, this boy is just an ignorant asshole!
Ubuyashiki put both of his hands out, sweating a bit from the tension, “Now now, Muichiro, I’m sure (Y/N) didn’t mean anything rude,” he looked at him. Me?! Being rude?! He just called me stupid!
Rolling his eyes, he shot a mocking glare at me, “What an imbecile, I hope she knows how to read directions if she’s going on a mission with me,”
THIS ASSHAT!!!
“I KNOW HOW TO READ DIRECTIONS THANK YOU VERY MUCH, WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!”
He gave it a moment before answering, “An idiot.”

Ubuyashiki called Muichiro into a room with him for a few minutes. I love Ubuyashiki, but he really is doing me dirty right now. What’s so important that his rude ass only has to know!?
Ah, maybe it’s because he needed to be enlightened about how smart and cool I actually was. Yeah, that’s what is has to be. Even Shitty Sanemi wasn’t this rude when I was put on patrol with him.
They both walked out the room together.
“Come on, let’s go, you buffoon,” that misty asshole ordered, like I was a dog.
“DON’T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT! WE’RE BOTH ON THE SAME LEVEL, Y’KNOW!”
Crossing my arms, not budging a bit. Does he even have any manners?! Apparently not!
“We’re obviously not on the same level, since you can’t read a map right, so you better hurry before I actually leave you,” he continued walking again.
WAIT WHO TOLD HIM THAT I DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO READ A MAP?! ONLY UBUYASHIKI KNOWS ABOUT THAT-!
Wait a damn second, they weren’t talking about how cool I was,, they were talking about my hate for maps?!
I swung my head back to Ubuyashiki, to see if this was true. He waved to me, and gave me a look that said, ‘sorry, it’s for your own good,’ I gasped.
“For safety, my child,” he closed the doors, not wanting to deal with my ranting right now.
That’s not my main problem, though, right now!
I’m going to put this asshat in check! Wait, where is he?
He really didn’t lie when he said he wasn’t waiting for me! Shit shit!
