THE ACHE OF A HANGOVER WAS ONLY YOUR BODY TRYING TO RECOVER FROM BEING WITHOUT ALCOHOL, and the moment lexie felt herself stir in her sleep with a pounding headache...

all she knew was that she wanted more.

more to make this sick fucking feeling go away.

she let out a groan before flipping over, cracking open her eyes before wincing and slamming them shut—-but then she forced them open again, seeing miles slumped in a desk chair, elbow resting on the arm rest as his head was on his hand.

"morning princess" he groggily said without even opening his eyes once, lexie gasped upon shock for a moment—-her throat was dry, and her voice was hoarse.

"did you—" she began, her voice sounding strained and hoarse, "did you stay there all night?" she questioned as she stared at him with half open lids, he still didn't even open his eyes.

he nodded with his eyes shut.

"why? and why am in your bed?" she finally pushed herself up before looking around in a panic.

his eyes snapped open quickly,

"because i wanted to make sure you didn't choke on your fucking puke in your sleep, that's why" he stared at her with pure malice, causing her eyes to widen upon realization,

"did i puke?" she questioned with wide eyes of horror, her eyes gazing around the room to avoid miles' burning stare, with a hardened jaw and frustrated glance he spoke,

"three times."

"oh... fuck" she let her back fall against the bed as she stared up at the ceiling that was lowly spinning above her head, feeling her stomach churn at the amounts of alcohol in her body.

her stomach felt like it had been punched.

her throat was tight.

her mouth was getting hot, and watery.

"oh fuck" she said with a tight voice and a sickly look washing all over her face as her hand covered her mouth before leaning over the side of the bed.

miles let out a sigh before leaning over and tossing his garbage can towards the edge of the bed, like he had done this a million times before, like he knew the drill of how to do this.
