ANGEL'S SHADOW

Chapter 1

Hey guys!
I don't know how this story is going to turn out but this story is actually a story in my mind so I just thought I should write it down

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear shadow happy birthday to you" everybody sang together while the birthday girl shadow, who just turned seven, blew the candles and cut the cake.
"Ok princess its time to open the gifts" exclaimed Sebastian, shadow's father.
Shadow ran towards all the gifts that were placed on a table in the corner of a room. All her friends and family gathered around her, as she opened the gifts one by one. All her gifts were dolls, bracelets, dresses. Shadow finally opened her last gift that was from her father, and was thrilled to see it.
It was a pendant. A clockwork angel holding a sword.
"Mommy daddy its beautiful! I love it!" said shadow
"It indeed is beautiful Sebastian!" Mary said
"Its your guardian angel my dear, always wear it no matter what" said Sebastian as he helped shadow with the pendent.

Suddenly they all heard a car crash outside their house. Sebastian went outside to check what it is. He saw a black car from which 5 men came out armed with guns and explosives. They pushed Sebastian out of the way and barged into the house. All the kids started to scream and in a few moments all the kids vanished and Sebastian, Mary, shadow and the five men with guns were the only people in the room. One of them marched towards shadow caught her by her waist and pushed Mary and Sebastian out of the way took shadow with them.
"Daddy help me! Help! No put me down! Leave me! Please"exclaimed shadow
"SHADOW!!!!!!!!!!" Screamed Mary running behind her daughter.
Sebastian, retrieved himself from the floor ran towards the door. But one of the men turned and shot Sebastian, he dashed on the floor and Mary screaming fell on the floor beside her still husband. The guy then shot Mary and left the house with Shadow.

"Shadow! Shadow! Wake up they are still after us I need you to fight!"
Shadow's eyes fluttered a bit and darkness faded as she opened her eyes. a flash of white light as she adjusted her eyesight and was completely conscious. All of a sudden the pain of her injuries stung her together on her arms, leg and forehead. Darius who was beside her all this time, trying to wake her up, helped shadow to her feet and said "They are still coming after us you have to fight".

Darius was a 15 year old beautiful boy with blonde hair gray eyes, who was kidnapped by the Azeerians, people from the world of warlocks, who were after the Zhen Gui. Zhen Gui is the key to unlock the book of Kosmo.

"Do you even know where we are running or are you just running blindly" asked Darius panting
"I know where we are, and I know where we are going don't worry trust me and keep running" said Shadow
While they were running they came to a sudden dead end.
"I thought you said you knew where we are going!"
"Its a land side probably because of the storm last night"
"Oh Shit!!! Now what??
"How many are they?"
"There are five of them"
"We can fight them!"
As soon as shadow finished her sentence, five men came in and surrounded her like ninjas armed with swords and ready to kill. It was dark, so dark that shadow wasn't able to see them clearly they were dressed in all black clothes and their faces were hidden as well.
Darius was standing right beside her and shadow towering him as a shield. Darius knew he couldn't fight he was injured and since he was running bare foot his legs were bruised.

Shadow, who was armed with bow and 20 arrows, decided to make her move first. Her arrows were made up of metal, they were black in color, and her bow was a recurve, composite bow. It was silver and black in color. She pulled an arrow from her quiver placed it on her bow pulled the string until her thumb was under her ear and let the arrow go. She did this so fast that her opponent was not able to see it and was stung by the arrow right on his chest, his sword fell and his body went still and fell right beside his sword. At that two of them attacked shadow together she was killed the first one with an arrow, but the second was so close to her that she didn't have time pull an arrow. The guy swung his sword and shadow kept blocking him with her bow. The man swung his sword again and shadow's bow fell to her side. Shadow then locked him with her arms and broke his neck.

Shadow picked up her bow and was marching towards the other two men but they decided to run away shadow hurried towards Darius who was standing in the corner. "Are you okay?" Asked shadow with worried eyes. "Yes I am fine. But what now? Where will we go?"
Shadow looked at the blocked road and then towards the hill beside the blocked, Shadow knew that Darius was injured but that was the only way to get to safety. She started walking towards the hill and gestured Darius to follow her.

After all the walking and climbing, Shadow and Darius reached a plain surface, a grassland. Darius was able to see something far in the dark. A very tall and wide figure or more like a structure. As soon as they walked closer towards the structure, Darius realized that it was a plane, one that has crashed it was covered with moss. It was clear that the plane was not going to fly, the open space, that once held a door, was wrecked as if an entrance to the plane. "What is this?"
"Its a plane that crashed here long time ago. So i decided to turn it into a house for me to live. This is the only place where you can get cure fir your injuries."
Shadow gave Darius a reassuring smile and they both entered the plane.
