The Power Within Her

Chapter 1: The announcement

I'm just an ordinary girl but I can't say the same about my bestfriend. She has this weird obsession of these two guys named Harry and Zayn. They my friends are famous singers from one direction. "Sophia!" Thea shouts as she enters my room.

"How did you even get into my room? My door was locked." I asked looking confused. "Oh I picked your lock, hope you don't mind. Anyways! Guess what?" She squealed jumping on my bed.

I gave her an annoyed look telling her to carry on. "I got tickets to go see Harry and Zayn on stage and best of all it's front row seats!" She started skipping around all excited and happy.

I groaned. "Do I have to go?" I asked her with innocent eyes. It was at that moment I knew I messed up. She looked at me like I had just committed a crime. She stomped over towards me and looked at me dead in the eyes and in a dangerous tone she stated "I did not hold in my pee for twelve hours and five minutes just so you can go "do I have to go?" Like what kind of question is that? Your my bestfriend. Your going. End of discussion am I clear?"

"Welp I guess I really don't have a say in the matter huh?" I said sadly. "Fine I'll go..." Her face turned into a bright smile as she started going on and on about how she's always dreamed of this moment her whole life. I blocked her out trying to concentrate on my drawing. It's a field of flowers with a horse on it.

"Oh did I forget to mention it's tomorrow night and we have to go shopping for clothes? No... oh well oops. Better rest up!!" She said and just like that she was out.

I silently cursed myself knowing that there was no way I could get out of this and shopping which I dreadfully hated.

I set my sketch book down in my secret location and got changed into a simple tank top and shorts and climbed into bed. "Tomorrow's gonna be a long day..." I muttered as I fell into a deep sleep.
