Addison's POV
It's been a month and Bryce is still in his coma , I also now practically live at the hospital. If I am not at the hospital I am getting a sandwich from the deli across the street. I haven't gone home in a while. I slept at the hospital next to Bryce's bed praying we will wake up the next day. Today I was loosing it. It's like my mind just entered a state of depression. I couldn't take it and I bursted out in tears on Bryce's chest. " Bryce please wake up...please I love you..I need you" I said in between sobs. I felt Bryce squeeze my hand and his eyes slightly opened. "Oh my Go-.. y-you're awake" I said wiping my tears " Greetings to you too" Bryce said weakly smiling as if he would in the mornings. " I-I need to get the doctors..OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWAKE" I squealed I couldn't believe it.
I ran up to the nurse that always checked me in at the hospital " Bryce is awake!" I told her excitedly. " That's incredible news i'll have a doctor come in a examine him in a few moments." She said smiling. I ran back to Bryce's room. I sat next to his bed " Bryce I have one question.." I told him "Yeah?" he asked me " Why did you get into a fight after one year out of no where?" I asked him.
He held my hand " Well at first these three guys came up to me and cornered me in a alley way, then they started talking about how you deserved better and how I wasn't good for you , next they said some really dirty things and called you all these named I couldn't take it and I swung my fist at them. " I can't believe he spent a month in a hospital because of me.. He was defending me. I felt a tear roll down my face " This whole thing was because of me?" I asked looking down at the ground.
"Hey hey look at me , this was not your fault what so ever if anything it was their fault or even mine I got myself into this mess. Don't ever blame yourself for this you deserve the world you're the sweetest , most kind and beautiful girl I know." He told me and wiped the tear off my face.
I kissed him , he was so good at cheering me up. He pulled away and told me " Alright now help me get out of this bed " He tried sitting up but I pushed him back down gently. " Sh sh sh sh I want to go home too but you need to get checked up to make sure you're ready to go home." I told him and just then the doctor walked in. He examined Bryce and told us he should be good to go in a few days.
By then it was already like 10:00 in the night. "Hey Addison you can go home if you want I don't want to stop you from living your best life" He told me and we both chuckled " No I want to stay I have had restless nights waiting for this day and I am going to spend it with you." I told him getting in the bed and cuddling up next to him. " Alright if that is what you want." Bryce said smiling and kissing my forehead.
I texted our whole friend group about Bryce and they were coming over to visit tomorrow morning.
God I missed him so much. After that I dozed off in his arms.
